Lives up to expectations
I don't agree with the reviews saying you would be better buying a conventional desktop pc. Most of the other m/c's in this sector have lower end Celeron silicon so to find this i-5 with a decent amount of RAM at a reasonable price seems a good deal to me.It has a good build quality and of course a tiny form factor.FWIW, the two newest computers in our house are also both i-5 machines. One is a Surface Pro and the other a bespoke tower system. They are both around 3-4 years old - and combined have the same amount of RAM & the same amount of SSD storage but together cost nearly £3,000 !!

Buyer beware
So these aren't twin HDMI, they are one HDI and a Display port, which would not work, it's a shame as i have 2 others which did have twin HDI and work fine, this model is cheap for a reason I guess, so don't buy one!

Be careful when removing that Intel sticker on the front
I haven't even fired it up yet but that dumb Intel sticker on the front left a big patch of adhesive when I removed it. I'm not sure how to clean it without damaging the plastic. Why they put it on I'll never know. Why they make it difficult to completely remove is even worse.

Not high performance at all
Not high performance whatsoever and I highly recommend a normal PC.

Quiet and performant
This little box runs really quiet and cool. The fans are rarely heard. But it’s performance is amazing. 12th Gen i5 is a beast.

Tiny, Powerful PC, Looks like the SEI 12, but very different
Just a short time ago I purchased a Beelink SEI 12 (the i5-1235U with 32 GB RAM and a 500 GB SSD), so I will attempt to review this PC and compare it to the SEI 12. Beelink should probably have done a little more to differentiate the two computers - from the outside they look pretty similar - same size, same color, same port positions, etc. The prices are very different and everything/even what you see that looks the same is different. I bought the SEI 12 (the i5-1235U) as sort of a test case and backup computer. My plan was to buy an Intel NUC as a future primary work computer, that was until the SEI 12 PRO popped up. I had been on the Beelink website several times and never saw a mention of this machine, until it just showed up on Amazon. While the two machines look very similar, there are some really big differences in them. I was able to get the SEI 12/32 GB version at $439.00, and the best price I have seen on the 16GB version is something like $379.00, although it seems like the prices have edged up a bit. The SEI 12 has slower USB ports (two 2.0, two 3.0, and a USB C that is 3.2), a slower LAN port (1 Gig), it also has DDR4-3200 RAM, and one item that is common to both machines a M.2 NVMe PCIE Gen 4 SSD (it is a pretty slow one - 3500 MB/s). I believe the WIFI/Bluetooth card is also common to both units (WiFi 6/Bluetooth 5.2.) The SEI 12 is a very capable little computer, but the SEI 12 PRO which comes in both an i5-1240p and and i7-1260p is a big step up. I was able to get the SEI 12 PRO i7-1260p version with 32 GB of RAM for $799.00, it looks like the best price on the i5-1240p version with 16 GB of RAM is around $619.00. The i7-1260p SEI 12 PRO as opposed to the i5-1235u SEI 12 gets you 2 more performance cores (4 performance/8 efficiency), two USB 3.2 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, one Thunderbolt 4 Port (apparently without power delivery), two HDMI 2.0 ports, and one 2.5 Gig ethernet port. You also get DDR5-4800 RAM, but the same pretty slow SSD. One thing that is not obvious unless you have both computers, the SEI 12 PRO has an all metal chassis which should result in much better heat dissipation, although both computers are very quiet. Both machines have dual fans and can expand by adding a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. The SATA SSD slides into position over the fan which is built into a plastic tray that sits on top of the mainboard hardware. After removing the bottom of the computer (4 screws), you need to take out 5 screws to remove the SATA SSD carrier/fan and access the RAM, M.2 NVMe SSD, and WiFi/Bluetooth card. I plan to upgrade the NVMe SSD to a faster 1 TB, but I do have some concerns about what that might do to the thermal management in the unit. I have been very impressed with how quiet both the SEI 12 and SEI 12 PRO happen to be. Essentially silent from 3 feet away in normal operations. I expect they could get louder with a higher performance SSD adding heat and while being pushed with more performance demands, but so far noise is not an issue. They are smaller than the Intel NUC's and similarly configured cost a lot less. While I cannot comment directly on it, since I don't have the i5-1240p version, it might be the best price/performance choice of the three options. The computers come with Windows 11 PRO and the authorization process was painless. I think they look great, but I really like the metal chassis much better than the plastic one (although most people would not be able to see the difference.) The fabric top is pretty nice and I do think it helps with getting heat out of the computer. I have had/do have a number of mini pcs including a Gigabyte Brix (the original one), a fanless Zotac, a couple of Atom based fanless units, an HP Z2 Mini G3, and an ASUS Vivo Mini V66, so these are not my first small computers. I don't use these computers for gaming , so this form factor makes total sense for me. I have had no experience with Beelink computer before this, so I will have to see if they hold up, but generally if you can get through the first month of use, computer failures become pretty rare. One more thing to mention is that the power supplies are 120W 19V/6.32A and they are pretty large. I am not sure the unit really needed 120W based on the processor TDP, but having some margin is good. The power connector is a 5.5mm x 2.5mm jack, so getting a spare or replacement power supply is pretty easy for around $30.00. In the final analysis, I really like both the SEI 12 and the SEI 12 PRO, but the PRO is what I really wanted. If they had added a Thunderbolt connector to the rear, moved all the USB A connectors to 3.2, used a 7000 MB/s SSD that was 1 TB, and added a USB C 3.2 with power delivery to the machine while using a USB C power supply, the machine would be close to perfect (okay I realize I may be asking for a lot.) As it is, the Beelink SEI 12 PRO i7-1260p is an excellent computer that weighs less than 20 ounces (without the power supply) and is 4.5in x 5in x 1.75in. - proving good things can come in some pretty small packages.

Better than I expected
This mini PC was good, actually better than I expected purchasing before. Faster and enough memory, and silent. The PC has blue tooth, WIFI6, 32GB memory, dual HDMI ports, four USB3 ports, and one USB-C port. Also Ethernet port as well. Even though, it's less price than other competitive PCs, and compact size. Overall, I like this.
