Good little kit, works right out the box, handy case keeps it altogether, works well,has everything you need

Very fast and convenient. Leave it on by mistake and it goes into sleep mode. Very useful.

As you can imagine this is a very cheap and lower powered soldering iron but for the price it works well. If your just occasionally joining some small cables together you need nothing more then this. It heats up fairly quickly and does get quite hot. It hasn't got alot of thermal mass though so for thicker wires it will not work well

I picked this kit up to repair some analog stick drift. It includes everything you need (minus the replacement sticks themselves)all packed into a convenient little zip-up storage bag. The kit worked perfectly, and it’s easy to store away for the next time the kids break a controller. A great value for DIY repairs!

I don't leave reviews as often as I should, but when you get something so good, you have to.My previous soldering iron (a basic Draper 40w) died and I needed something quick and cheap until I have money for something more pricey down the line.I'm so glad my old one died, this one is so good and is great value for money.You set your temperature (which it remembers) and within seconds it's up to temperature! I used to have to wait a couple of minutes with my old one, this gets to 385c in about 7 seconds?It comes with some precision tweezers which was great as my old ones are a little bashed up. A good selection of tips, some solder... All this for the cost of less than 3 pints of beer in London.There's only one thing that I would change (and that's probably just me) which is the on/off switch being only 30cm from the iron, meaning it drags over my work. This is probably a bonus to some people but a hindrance to me. But for the price I'm not going to complain, I'll probably move the switch further down the cable itself and then it'll be perfect.I honestly thought this was going to be awful and now I feel like I've underpaid haha.

I left the iron on high heat and when I came back it had compltly melted into a 90 degree shape, iron bent over tha handle. I specifally wanted a very hot iron. I used it about 3 times. Never again.

Edit update :- got a full refund so it gains a star for quick refund xwhere do i begin, .... so over all the kit is great has everything you need to do some soldering and comes in a lovely case. But .... it has now stopped working not even soldering after 10 min of using it. Now when it was working it worked and i loved that it has the temp control and the switch to turn it off next to you instead of pulling the plug ( great safety feature ) but i am disappointed that it wont solder at all :( now. i am mid solder, of some wiring to finish my project and now i have to go buy another one so i can finish it off. I will seek a refund though as it is only a few days since i got it. Just be careful with this one i may of had a bad batch, so over all if this worked i would have given 5 stars but lost due to stop working.

The heat never transferred to the tip properly so the flux wasn’t melting, but the iron was torching the PCB board I was working on. When I melted the solder wire, the tip melted into it and deformed. Do NOT use this on any expensive equipment.

Item arrived as described, except the "on/off" switch shown in the listing was missing.Seller responded quickly and provided a partial refund, which I appreciate.The product works fine, the tips are a bit thin but hoping will last a while, but honestly the listing should be updated to avoid confusion for future buyers.

It blow up on first tryI adjusted the temp on 350 C and after 1 minute i heard a weird sound and stopped working no heat any more
