I needed a large hole saw to cut 2 x 127mm diameter holes. I read some of the product reviews which were somewhat negative. However, as I only needed to cut 2 holes, I didn't want to spend too much as I could not foresee further use of these in future, so thought they would be ideal.I should have taken notice of the negative reviews. I got halfway through each hole to a depth of 18mm. I then turned the part over to cut from the other side to ensure a clean hole finish without splintering. I got to a depth of approx 2mm out of a further 18mm (total thickness 36mm) and the hole saw started to spin. On inspection, the slotted hole in the hole saw had rounded itself off, so there was no way to stop it spinning. I had to finish off cutting the holes with a jig saw.

These are a very low quality made set. The drill chuck bit is bent so the drill bit and circular saw oscillate and do not drill straight, which results in the drill shaking around in your hand and a larger hole due to it moving so much. Also the circular saw bits are made from very weak metal, they can cut through one piece of wood and then start to dull quickly and you'd be hard pressed to cut a hole in a lump of cheese.Buy another set because this one is useless.

I Purchased these hole saws primarily for the larger size, it did not even manage one cut through MDF despite running at a slow speed, the upside is the metal is so soft a quick scrape with a file sharpened it to complete the job. In fairness though they are cheap and for the odd bit of DIY they are OK, but anyone wanting them for multiple use think again

Bought this primarily to makes several holes in the ceiling of my bathroom and then as an investment.No complaints, works and fits together as expected. The case holds everything in place nicely and now proudly sits on the shelf in my garage waiting for my next bright idea.Very good value for money too.

For installing a round ventilation vent this set did the job (including, as it does, a 102mm hole saw).The case is ok. Should be fine as long as it's not chucked around too much.Very happy with the set and the range of sizes. Worked perfectly with my combo drill.

Arrived wet, had to wipe it all down to stop it from rusting. But it served its purpose cutting hole in stack for a boss, hard plastic and went through no problem with a perfect circle. Going to be testing the 5inch blade out soon to cut out a piece of dry wall for a repair

I purchased this to bore some holes in my bathroom vanity suite.The nut that secures the blade constantly came loose, for some reason using this item made my drill slip a lot which had never happened before.Afterwards my drill was slipping on just a standard drill bit... it could be a coincidence, but either way it was frustrating to use having to constantly stop to tighten the nut

The hole saw set itself is actually quite decent.My gripe is that when I ordered, it said, order now for delivery before 1pm next day. Didn't arrive until nearly 5pm, so the little job I'd planned to do this afternoon, now has to wait until I'm off work again.
