SHARDOR Conical Burr Coffee Bean Grinder, Anti-Static, 48 Settings, Silver

Six months of grinding morning coffee beans and it’s working great. A little noisy in operation, but it doesn’t have to run very long so it’s not a big deal, the rest of the time it sits very quietly and patiently on the counter top.

Pretty, functional, and clean. I mainly use the grinder for french press and pour-overs.Things I like about this coffee grinder:1) Price. Very reasonable compared to other burr grinders. I had my initial doubts about the brand.2) Looks. It doesn't feel cheap. We'll see if it lasts, but for now, it looks great on my countertop.3) Clean. I'm surprised at how clean the area around the grinder bottom is. I had a B@r@tza Enc0re for years, and I always had to clean up after a grind. When using the grinding chamber, the base remains clean, and the countertop is clean. Their anti-static magic seems to mostly work well, without spraying the beans.4) Display. The digital display is clear, and I've figured out that at a couple of settings for coarse grind for my french press, around 9 or 10 seconds works just right, without having to leave anything in the chamber. I do wish it would remember my timer setting would stay every time I turn it on, but it's ok, I can live with that.5) Grind. It's consistent, as far as I can tell. No complaints here.I could do without the beeping (when turning on and when adjusting the timer). I don't see the need for that noise, and it's clear that the grinder is on when the display lights up. IMHO Shardor should completely get rid of those sounds.On a side note, I ran an AI analysis of several sub-$100 grinders, primarily for the purpose of french press, so it had to be good at coarse grinds. Shardor scored at the top for price/quality.Let's hope the good grinding continues

Thiis is my third Shardor coffee grinder. My original was starting to age out after 5 years, nothing serious , just tired. I bought and returned the model that grinds a minumum of two cups because that was simply too much coffee for one morning. This model grinds precisely enough coffee at the 10 second setting to fill my Kcup. Its much quieter than any other grinder and the nonstatic system keeps the ground coffee where it belongs. The device that receives the ground coffee is rectangular so I can transfer it directly to the Kcup without using a spoon and spilling it.

I got the SHARDOR Professional Conical Burr Coffee Grinder because I wanted to upgrade my at-home coffee routine, especially for making my bi-weekly Toddy coffee. Grinding fresh beans myself makes the whole batch feel better than relying on pre-ground coffee, and the 48 grind settings give me room to adjust the grind depending on what I’m making. The stainless steel conical burrs create a more consistent grind, which is especially helpful when I’m preparing a larger batch at once. I also like that the anti-static design helps keep the counter cleaner, while the digital timer and display make it easy to control the grind without overthinking it. The removable parts make cleanup more manageable after grinding. Overall, this grinder makes my Toddy coffee routine feel fresher, easier, and more enjoyable without making the process complicated.
