I have been looking for an inexpensive alarm system that is easy on the wallet and these fit the bill quite nicely. Make sure you use the right size Phillips head screwdriver so you don't strip the screw heads. What I like about these driveway alarms is that you can adjust the alarm to several sounds. They also are great because neither my dog or chickens set them off. Make sure you test them once you install them so you can adjust the angle to fit your needs. A real winner here!

Could only use one of these two alarms. Unable to remove screws to battery compartment on one of these alarms. Letter to seller unanswered. Excellent system if you can get to the battery compartment to add batteries.

I use this to monitor my driveway. There is no way to turn off the outdoor sensor so if you are working in your driveway, the chime will go off a zillion times. You could go back indoors and unplug the receiver unit from the outlet every time you work outdoors, but beside being an inconvenience, now you have to reset/re-pair the device when you want to use it again. What to do? I have outdoor resin furniture and decided to mount the monitor on the furniture (a table), which stays stationary most of the time. So, if I am washing the car in the driveway, for instance, and I can faintly hear that I’m setting off the chime repeatedly indoors (a battery drain on the outdoor sensor that uses 4 AA batteries), I simply turn the patio furniture to which the outdoor sensor is mounted toward a wall. When I’m done working outdoors, just replace the furniture back to where it originally was and the sensor faces the driveway again.Take great care and more time than you think before you screw the outdoor sensor mount in…there are many variables like the one I mention that you want to know before making screw holes in your house. Another example is tree mounting like in the photos of this device; sounds good until you discover that your tree moves in the wind and sets this thing off like crazy on blustery days. Yet another example: if this at all faces the garage door, it’ll chime every time the garage door goes up (which may actually be the way you want to use it for example to know your loved one is home, but for that you’d likely mount it inside the garage facing the door). This does not work....The only part that works is the receiver that plays the songs if you hold it and make it play a sounds.

Due to my Wi-Fi connection and jammers used, my security cameras do not always capture images. These motion sensors works great. I don't need them for great distances. I have five of them placed around the perimeter of my home. Even without a camera, I know that someone or something is on my property. One of the brackets broke as I was relocating the sensor in below freezing temperatures. I contacted the manufacturer to see if they sell the brackets to hold the sensors separately and they did not. They sent me a sensor at no cost which had a bracket of course. That was really nice. The reason for the four-star rating,which I was trying to figure out how to give a half so it can be four and a half stars, we can add 58 sensors to one chime but you cannot program all of the chimes to the same sensors so that way you can have the time on every floor of your home which was a really great since you're not going to always be in that one room all the time. If they ever come out with that model, hopefully I can get a discount since I've purchase a total of three sets of two sensors and a chime.
