Look great! Very bright. Might need sunscreen in the garage now. 😂 Went upPretty easy and with a plug attachment was able to use the garage light sockets and switch already there. Very happy!

These lights are super bright and make the garage look very modern! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to enhance their garage or basement space. Don’t look at them to long, they are blinding.As a suggestion: I bought an adapter the connects to a light bulb socket that has a standard wall outlet built in so I could plug the lights into which also allows me to turn the lights on and off with my existing light switch. As the lights only come with a standard plug.

Easy to put together, super bright, gigantic. They do tend to get a little hot to the touch but that’s whatever. So far so good

These where are pain to install! But that's part and parcel of the design and also mine and my wife's lack of DIY skills.But they are incredibly bright (I need to reach out and see it it can be used with a dimmer)Functionally they are great and they was enough to do 2 sets in our garage with left overs for a box over our work bench (yet to be installed).Overall they are a great value for money.

Got this to put in my basement above my pool table. I have old recessed fluorescent bulbs that are a little finicky. I though about replacing those with led replacements but that is a pretty big project (removing ballasts and rewiring).For the price this was an awesome solution. I was able to screw it directly onto the drop ceiling and, since it has such a low profile, it blends in well. That also keeps it safe from my friends who tend to yank up their pool cues - hanging light would be doomed.It takes up a lot of ceiling real estate. Almost the full size of the pool table - 8 foot table. This is perfect as it casts a distributed light so that shadows are not a problem. If you were to use this in the garage to look under the hood, you won't need little Jimmy to hold the flashlight for you - he never holds it steady.The only complaint that I have is the power cord to plug into a standard outlet could be a lot longer - but hey, a ten dollar extension cord took care of that issue and still cheaper than that light replacement. It would also be nice if you could change the white light 'temperature" to a less harsh light, but for shooting pool or doing any detail type work this is probably the better cold white.Good product and when the fluorescent bulbs go in my garage I will be buying another.

So I was working on a remodel of some discounted furniture in my garage and I learned quickly that my lighting was horrible. I struggled to see near my garage door because the regular light bulb in my garage door opener was inefficient.So I looked for a fix and with some brain power I came up with this setup and purchased this hex lighting kit.Absolutely worth EVERY penny!!!I purchased the 5-Hex light kit and you want to talk about brightness!!! It’s blinding the first time you plug it in! Night to Day difference! It is a two person install and takes patience and basic install skills.Powering it is by regular plug. This is a disadvantage because to turn on and off you have to un-plug and plug in to an outlet or use an additional device to cut it on and off. Depending on where your outlet is, you may even have to run an extension cord up to your ceiling if there’s not an outlet on your ceiling.Sounds discouraging right….But I’ve got you!! Buy a light socket plug like the one I purchased! A fully grounded one (3-pronged). Instead of using an ordinary light bulb, use the Hex lighting as your new garage light like I did!!Now I can cut the light on and off by using the light switch on my garage door opener!When the garage door opens, complete brightness!!Zip ties come with the kit so you can zip tie the cord to your garage door motor brackets like I did!!I promise you, you won’t be disappointed with this set up! Mine has been up for a month now and I LOVE IT!!!

This light is nice and bright and it works as a bulb replacement on my Liftmaster garage door opener. I just connected the wire from the light into a lightbulb plug adapter attached to the bulb socket in the garage door opener for power and on/off switching.

Really solid product simple in design, super bright.
