No-Profile Recessed Bottle Cage Boss Blanking & Sealing Screws (Natural Stainless, 8-Pack)

These are the ideal way to fill the mounting bosses, not just for an unused bottle mount, but those for packs. My bike came with plastic plugs that did alright, but now and then I lost one. These are not going anywhere, and they look great too. While a bag of bottle mount screws would have done, that would mean several of them protruding in places where they don't look great. Thanks, Treske, for coming up with this solution.If you're a cyclist looking for a nicer way to close up the extra mounting locations on your bike, these are worth the expense.

I have a Trek Checkpoint SL5. The threaded holes to attach bottles or fenders come with plastic plugs that constantly fall out. This is a permanent solution to the problem.

I like them. Wish they had a bronze color.Two pretty small qualms. One was silver while the rest were the correct color of black - which isn't really black. It's dark silver. I'm not so sure the color will last either, but maybe.One other thing, do wish they were a TOUCH longer. In 99% of cases they'll work just fine, but one of my cage bolts doubles as a bolt that holds a multitool within the frame. and this wasn't quite long enough to get that done. This isn't really star deductable.To the person thinking that they will work with bottle cages or accessories, They will most likely not. These are just a plug alternative in my eyes.

Love these, not for weight weenie type purposes, but because my frame came with bright silver screws for the bottle cages and to attach a rack with. The black ones work perfectly to blank out all the screw holes that I won't ever use.

Easy to install

Until I try them, I can hardly imagine how well they fit. I may want to get another pack just in case this product discontinues before I purchasing a second bike.

Seems like decent quality, and will do the job of plugging the bottle cage bosses, but do not sit flush - at least on a Surly LHT. I might try the grub screw version (no head) as I am trying to find something that will not abrade my frame bag on longer, mixed-terrain tours.

Just to be clear - nobody NEEDS these, but they're pretty freakin' cool if you're a bit of a weight weenie. You really don't want to drop them on a cluttered floor!

Prompt, on-time delivery. The screws fit standard bottle cage blanks in frame. Easy to paint with enamel paint to colour match frame. the loctite is easily removed if you don't want it.

I bought these to replace the existing water bottle bolts on my Cyclocross bike. They fit very nicely and keep the frame clear for shouldering.They sit below the braze-on but shouldn’t turn all the way into the frame.I would definitely recommend.

Rubber plugs in all the mount points on my gravel bike kept falling out or water leaking in. Screws mount nice and flush, keep the water out and look much better & lighter than mounting bolts.
