Iron Will (The Shifting Tides Book 4)

Another ''could not put down'' book from James Maxwell.. from the first page to the end... I am always disappointed when I come to the end or a James Maxwell Book because I know I will have a difficult time finding something else to read.... which keep me totally captured in his fantasy world....

I have left my review until I finished the last book.very often the first story is good only for the next to disappoint. Not the case in this series. Every page wants you to turn the next. Wonderful.

A brilliant and rivetting end to a fascinating series which wove peoples from different warring nations finally together in peace. Magic, dragons and eldren in a colourful Mediterranean background where the sun shone on many different scenes of good, bad and even worse.

Loved this series - just a minor niggle, namely in the last book and the climatic final, the number of dragons seems to inexplicably grow irrespective of how many have already been killed. Bugged me slightly. But overall a great series that keeps you entertained

We join Dion, Chloe and the crew once again in their intricate and well thought out world. Their adventures continue, with a build up and climax of the main story line but also plenty of twists and turns and adventures along the way. A thoroughly enjoyable series, a hugely satisfying finale, wonderful characters, a beautifully created world, which leaves you wanting more.Keep writing James! I look forward to your next creation.

Was really looking forward to this fourth book in the series and it certainly didn't disappoint. What a great ending to a fantastic series. I only wish it can be made into a film so I can relive it all again in glorious Technicolor .

This does not disappoint. It is a lot faster than the previous books and I did not see the twist that was very clever. Well worth a read.

All four books kept me immersed from start to finish, as soon as I'd finished one book i couldn't wait to start the next.

A real rollercoaster of a story with all lose ends finally brought together. Great characters who change in response to the happenings in their lives. Magic and warfare abound.

s introduction will certainly be reading more. Probably by this author. I can highly recommend these books and was carried away at times and my imagination made them even better...

Trying to read it but keep losing interest. Not up to the previous three in the series.
