CHEFMADE18-Inch Marble Rolling Pin with Wooden Handles and Cradle, Non-Stick (Gray and White)

I bought this for my aspiring baker daughter who absolutely loved it! It’s a great weight and works perfectly.

solid feel but not heavy...since the pictures are carved into the wood they won't wash or rub off from regular usage which makes me so glad because its so cute...i also like the measure markings on it too..

Initially I purchased this rolling pin because it is beautiful and shows well on the counter between uses (which is ideal if you have limited storage space). But I have fallen in love with it because it is heavy and even and makes wonderfully thin dough for pizza and flatbreads. The marble is smooth, glides over dough, and cleans easily. It came with 2 extra plastic dowels, presumably in case they wear out over time - I see no sign of wear after frequent use for several months, but its nice to have the backup.

Easy to use and to clean

The handles are nice and beefy and the axle seems plenty stout. The finish on the handles is nice but the marble on the roller feels a little pitted. Its stone, so that may be unavoidable, but I hope the tiny pockets don't trap food particles. The hole through the center is also not lined up properly on one end, so one handle moves smoothly while the other bobs up and down while rolling. The wooden cradle is nice so the heavy thing doesn't wind up rolling off onto the floor. Its also a little rough, so will probably sand it lightly to make it easier to clean.Overall, its got nice heft and a good feel, but just needs a little more attention to details. However, it is made in China, so getting something great was never really expected.

Heavy and smooth! It’s perfect for making tortillas

I decided to upgrade my cheaper marble rolling pin after my son dropped and broke the handles off, and I am so glad I went with this chefmade! It is sturdier and smoother than my last one, and it makes making pastries a breeze. It is so easy the clean and the marble is basically non stick. I love it!

My first pin was similar to this but lighter. I decided to give it away for a more modern wooden, very sleek, very long one with no handles. What a mistake!! Took forever to roll out the dough, and was such a workout that I stopped baking as much because ai knew I was in for a struggle just to roll dough wide and flat. Decided to return to traditional roller and as heavy as I could find. This pin is GREAT...doesn’t stain (I roll out Jamaican patty dough and the curry stained the wooden pin), rolls very fluidly, and makes short, easy work of rolling the dough out flat, mostly because of its heavy weight. Love the bonus of the included pin stand.

It looked perfect in principle, but in pratice the handle is not centered correctly, so it wobbles when used. Very disappointing.
