Great light source for fiber optics!
I purchased several of these with a different number of LED heada for several different custom light jobs. They work wonderfully as a light source for the side glow fiber optic cables! I lit 2X15 foot 3mm and 2X15 foot 1 mm with one of these LEDs at both ends and it lights up brighter than neon.

Lite generator used to simulate a neon lite. The feral rated for 6 to 8 mm is too loose for 6 mm.

It does seem ti work.......
I am somewhat disappointed as this is the second unit received (returned first). Neither unit reieved included a battery for the remote. It did have an insulating tab like a battery was installed. I live 20 miles from town and now I need to wait till I go get some 2025s. I will add a review after I receive batteries.

Dim lights, no remote battery
I would have hoped this performed better. The lights are very dim which makes this unsuitable for the project it was intended for. Also, the remote did not come with a battery, so I have to go get one and this is stuck on color red until i do. Clearly a cheaply made imported product. It came in a plastic ziploc bag... Might return as its not worth the price at all.UPDATE: 3 weeks laterDecided to keep this. Although the lights are not super bright, they will work and are probably fine for most short fiber optic run projects. If you buy this make sure you have a spare CR2032 type button cell battery for the remote.

It figures
Of course the unit shows up with NO instructions and NO battery in the remote. So once I figure out how to hook it up and see if it works, then I will write more.
