City 4204 The Mine

This is a really fun set with lots of stuff going on.It has a lot of pieces, but the build is broken down into about eight bags of parts so you never need to have more pieces to sort through than you're going to be using in the immediate future. This made construction very pleasant as you could almost always just reach down and grab what you need without having to dig through a couple hundred unrelated parts.You get a number of separate vehicles with some clever design, and pretty much all the parts are standard with the exception of the three or four huge "mountain" pieces that each simulate about 30-40 individual bricks. But the set will definitely add a lot of versatility to the Lego collection here.Lots of separate vehicles as I said, and other moving parts (the conveyor belt, crane, etc.) which provide a pot of opportunities for play.Definitely one of the cooler sets that I've seen.G.

A true Lego dad here - this set is great! My son and I teamed up to assemble this mine set. This is perfect for two or more people to play with at once. It has several vehicles and interactive operations. The quality is very high, as is normal with Lego. The creativity is excellent, with a functional crane and conveyor belt. While you may pay more upfront for Legos versus mega-blocks or any other chinese knockoff, you won't regret your purchase. I have been collecting Legos for more than 25 years and now my son is able to play with many of the same sets from when I was his age. They don't break or wear easily, and they get the creative juices flowing.

What can I say, it's Lego and it's awesome. My son and I built this together in a morning Lego building session. The directions were spot on as always. There are so many fun features and things to do at the mine. Great little set. My son still has it set up in his room (3 weeks later) and that's saying something for a set to still be assembled after the first couple of days.

My nephew requested this for his birthday, so I got it for him. I watched him put it all together and then play with it. He has enjoyed many happy hours. This is a great toy because it stimulates his imagination and his engineering skills. Lego quality is well known and we were not disappointed. I'm sure I will be buying more Lego products in the future.

My 6 year old son asked for this for months before Christmas, so I shopped around and ordered it. First of, it took my husband over 6 hours to asseble it, and when my son began to play with it, it all fell completely apart. Legos apparently arent what they used to be and we will not be purchasing anymore of their products.

You get so much with this mine, and even the small details are pretty neat, like the gold and dynomite. My five year old put this together with a little help, and instructions were very well written. It is a great additon to the city set, particularly as the burglers (from another set) can come and rob the mine and make a getaway.

Our son had been wanting this Lego Mine for the longest time! Every store that we went in to he would ask us when we thought he would be able to get it. Santa ended up bringing it for him last Christmas and he couldn't have been more excited when he woke up and found it beneath the tree. I loved that the set contains various bags so you can take your time and build one or two of the items per day. We like to spread out these big sets over the course of a few days so the fun lasts. My son really loved the working mine track in it and it was cool that the mine cart easily slid up and down it. I'm sure there is additional track somewhere out there in the Lego world for purchase. It would be really fun to connect it all and make one big working city/mine!

the blocks were okay, just not what I was looking for Mine Craft items. That's what I get for not knowing the product. Now I'm stuck with Legos no one wants. My grandson looked at it and said, Grandma don't you know anything, that's not mine craft!
