Surprised at the quality of this tag case, fits my dogs nylon collar well. I have an active 92lb put who loves to swim, hike and run.I can see the back plate that supports that whole thing becoming an issue in the future specially if exposed to the elements constantly.But they did provide and extra. Submerged it under the water and it held up. Buying more for the spare collars when the plate gets a bit more wear.

It’s so simple to assemble that there’s no reason to bother with the instructions unless you are simply not the brightest bulb on the marquee. They even include extra parts so if you drop one of those teeny-tiny screws you are covered by an extra!Note: on my pup’s leather collar, I had to screw the backplate onto the back on the back of the holder pretty hard in order to get the screws to seat properly (see photos). I was a little concerned that I might break the backplate. Your average nylon collar should be thin enough—and compressible enough—to get a good tight squeeze on the holder. But be advised that some THICK leather collars may be too thick to accommodate this Airtag holder unless you track down some longer screws. Mine is just about 3/16 of an inch thick.I cannot comment its durability at this point. As long as the backing plate does not come loose or break it should last quite a while.Regarding cost: considering that it is made almost entirely of plastic, I think it's a bit spendy for what you are getting.

This is a great product. In contrary to what people are using this item, and intended purpose, I purchased these for my travel backpack. I attached to either a strap or the inside lining. Works great for me. I would definitely recommend.

I was impressed with the quality. Includes tools, o-ring and screws with locktite. Easy to install! I considered the cheaper silicon ones, but I had already lost an airtag with a cheaper fob.

The main reason I like this is it's waterproof. When you have a dog who loves running through sprinklers, you always worry about the airtag getting wet and going bad.

I have a husky, and while he has not escaped yet, this gives me piece of mind that if he does, I'll have some help tracking him down (with the airtag safely stowed in this device)! Good waterproof and durable design.

Not a very difficult task to get this installed on your dog's collar - it comes with the bracket and two custom screwdrivers that fit the screw types also included. I was able to fit this easily on a standard fabric collar bought from a big brand store - one meant as well for a L to XL sized dog. Fit perfectly with install.My Air Tag also fit inside the compartment without issue, and the "water proof" addition is a rubber band that is included. I did not test this assembled with the air tag underwater - air tags are expensive to buy and I expect my dog to be wearing this while at worst splashing around in a shallow dog park creek and not fully immersed in, say, a lake.You have to really tighten the screws to ensure a seal, I find. It takes a bit of time to feel like you've eliminated the seam in the plastic so I would really take the patience and care to do so and continue tightening it until it firmly tells you to stop.The bracket, when tightened, keeps the air tag very firmly stationary where you've secured it on the collar. For that reason, I'd take the time to ensure where you exactly would like it positioned, since it doesn't move at all or adjust once you've got it locked in.My phone was able to see the Air Tag transmitting fine even inside the plastic - feels like a solid option if you want to use the same cover on different types of collars. Great option to have when you're teaching a new puppy or dog recall and need security to find him/her!

I have a pup that is growing, and my wife likes multiple different collar colours.This allows me to transfer the AirTag between any collar I choose, and after it’s removed, the reinstall is easy and secure.Signal is still strong.

I mistakenly thought this was for 2 holders based on the picture. I don't think it said "1 pack" in the title when I initially ordered it, but maybe it did. Doesn't matter, it's my own fault for assuming.Given that there is only 1, the value for the price decreases a bit, but the holder itself is pretty solid. It is waterproof and isn't easy to unscrew, which makes it handy for theft tracking.It oddly comes with 8 screws for holding the two pieces together, but it only requires 4 screws. So maybe there was supposed to be 2 at one point. Who knows.

This is really easy to install, and seems robust. The o-ring seal is a nice touch and should work very well. It's important to be able to track your pet these days, and this will protect your AirTag!
