I ordered extra tools in order to do a perfect job with this screen installation, went fine. I took my time. Turned phone back on and it looked perfect. However - one annoyance and one show stopper issue. The visible pixel display is at least 2mm smaller than the original. It’s noticeable, annoying, but nothing more. I would have accepted that were it not for the main problem, and reason for the 1 star review which is that after installation and testing for 4 days - the screen works intermittently perfect. It’s seem fine - but every 10-15 minutes consistently, it stops responding to all touch, swipe etc. and I had to set in screen lock and unlock it again to “wake it up”. Restarted device many times during the days testing, but the problem did not go away. Internal connections were completed properly. The fact that it is an ongoing but intermittent problem tells me that this screen is simple buggy and not sufficiently compatible for this device. I knew this wasn’t Apple OE, but I expected the screen to respond to touch 100% of the time. Problem was too much, so I had no choice but to reinstall the defective (missing pixels) OE screen. Very disappointed in this product.

Works and fits perfectly great products

I was desperate to get my phone working so I can transfer data to a new iPhone but my screen was destroyed. I’ve fixed iPhones in the past so I thought I’d give this a try. I needed a screen that was cheap and I could get it fast. So here I am. since most of these replacements are probably the same on Amazon with different clever adds to draw you in, I was impressed with my first impression the kit, it was well packaged and complete. the tools were decent and effective. The screw holder/template was a nice touch and helpful. I had one issue with the sensor that you have to remove from the screen it was challenging to remove so use a heating mat or hair dryer to soften the adhesive. And be careful. I already had non functioning Face ID but if you damage this sensor then it won’t work for you. The bottom left screw on this sensor I was not able to tighten all the way I’m not sure why but I got it as close as I could. After powering it up it was clear it is not to the same quality as an original screen but I was only after getting the phone functioning for a spare and transferring photos and whatnot so it’s just fine for my needs. Thr touch sensitivity is fine and accuracy is fine it does seem a little delayed when your typing. Again completely fine for my needs. I’m not giving it 5 stars as that the screw holes were not properly made and the screen is a little laggy . And I just installed it so I have no idea how it will hold up. If I remember I’ll make a follow up edit. I’d say a refurbished oem apple screen is the way to go but If your in a pinch this one works and make the phone useful. We should be able to fix our stuff so we should at least appreciate inexpensive repair parts!

This is a must buy if you need one. Fit perfectly and cables all lined up. This seller had very professional packaging. Screen came in a nice box with plastic wrapped around it (as new). The package was not damaged at all. Inside it even has a instruction cardboard digitizer with the hole alignment for the screws incase you forget where they go. That is awesome. It works really good. Thank you to the seller for such a great buy you are definitely saved on file for all my phones. We have 2 kids still on our plan so…..lol. BEST BUY on mobile phone screens!!!! Last person we bought one from, it lasted about 7-14 days and screen went out!

My aging iPhone X is practically falling apart with the amount of use and abuse it still gets and with one accidental drop the screen got destroyed beyond repair. Being tight on cash not being able to get another premium screen repair I decided to spend $20 on this kit, and I was probably the best $20 I’ve ever spent. Paid $20, kit came the next day with full install instructions that were easy to follow alongside all the tools that were included with the toughest part being aligning the waterproof seal. In less than an hour my phone was back to life! The screen itself is nowhere near original factory quality being LCD instead of OLED, a bit of a soft picture, and increased battery consumption. But honestly for $20 this is all priceless and works. I am typing this review on this screen and will continue to enjoy it until either I need another one or finally get a much needed upgrade from this phone

Hands down the easiest most clear screen replacement kit I ever used as a nonprofessional normie. The very clear and easy to follow instructions included in the kit not like others that tells you to go on YouTube to watch a video. Also a clear graphic screw mat to know which screw driver to use and to remember where it goes is a bonus!
