Procella 62 Inch Large Golf Umbrella for Rain, Windproof, Auto Open, Heavy Duty, Oversized, Extra Large Big Size, Coverage for 2-3 People, Sturdy Stick Adults Sports Umbrellas

This is a big umbrella, but it is not too heavy. I was immediately impressed by the mechanical operation of this umbrella, but wanted to actually use it once before writing a review. Here is what I like about the umbrella:1. It is large. I walked about a mile and a half in fairly heavy rain and no part of me (except the bottom of my shoes) got wet. That means it covered my stride. I confidently kept my phone (a Note 4 Edge - no case) in my shirt pocket. I did not worry about the two computers I had in my backpack.2. For it's size it is pretty lightweight. I held it for about 40 minutes without undue arm fatigue.3. It snaps open quickly and smartly with the push of a button. Although it does not close automatically, it closes easily due to the rubber-like coating on the slide.4. The umbrella appears to be well made. It feels solid. I get the feeling that it will last. This is a subjective judgement, of course. Time will tell.5. I like the look of it6. I think it will hold up in the wind. The one time I have used it so far, winds were moderate.What I don't like (very little):1. I could do without the logo. This is nit-picking, but I would have preferred an all black umbrella. Truth be told, the logo is not too obtrusive.Overall, I think it is an excellent umbrella. I think it was a good value at around $40.

I purchased the 62 inch Procella Golf Umbrella a couple of months ago to replace an old / damaged 68 inch Nike golf umbrella. Both the design and build of the umbrella look good and are an upgrade from the old Nike. I do prefer the 68 inch size, but did not like the color options that were offered, so I selected the 62 inch.The handle of the Procella is firm with good grip and is also flared at the end to not slip out of your hand if the wind were to catch it. The button to open the umbrella is solid and looks like it will hold the umbrella closed over time (an upgrade from the Nike). Although solid, the button is easy enough to press. Pressing the button rapidly opens the umbrella due to a strong spring. Again, despite the strong spring the umbrella remains easy to close. There is a mesh section between the upper and lower canopies that appears to give added strength; the Nike umbrella did not have this design feature.To some disappointment, I did have an issue after relatively limited use. The retention ring where the stretchers attach to the runner cracked. The umbrella is currently still functional, but I am unsure of it's longevity given the damaged part. Since I registered the product (as soon as I received it), I contacted customer service and sent them a picture of the damage. I rapidly received a response stating this is an uncommon occurrence and to verify the shipping address on file was accurate. They sent me a replacement umbrella at no cost and with no need to return the damaged umbrella. [Update] It has been years now and the umbrella continues to work flawlessly.I am rating this umbrella at 5 stars (4.8 if I could) due to having a quality issue so early after receiving the umbrella. It is the way Customer Service responded that bumps up the rating to 5 stars. It is nice to see Procella doing the right thing for a customer and resolving the issue without hesitation. Because of this, when I am in the market for another umbrella I will definitely look at Procella's products.

A very nice umbrella and I can safely say it is the best I have ever own or even seen. I wasn't sure about it's durability but it underwent an accident that I think any other umbrella would have broken from... this one was unaffected.Basically, what happened was I was on one of those buses where there are two buses connected together and in the middle they have that flexible joint that moves left or right to help the bus make turns. Anywho, I was on the bus and didn't think there were any turns on the route. I was wrong. I had my umbrella leaning against the wall and as the bus started to turn the umbrella took some nasty pressure and I thought it broke. I was particularly upset because I literally just got it the day before. I'm glad to say the umbrella did not break. Now I don't plan on throwing it around or anything, and I do try to treat it gently, but I also know from experience it's a very strong umbrella. My only complain is it's a little smaller than I had hoped and it really only fits one person IMO but the size is true to the dimensions given. 62 inches isn't as big as I thought it would be. It seems amazon is out of stock on this. I hope the company didn't go out of business. It would be a pity to lose this company and my guess is they will only improve in design and strength as time goes on.

I am most impressed with the quality of construction. Might have chosen a colour other than black if available. Day it arrived a drought began so no comment on using in rain, but i have full faith in this product and would purchase again. No one ever regretted buying quality.

Hele fijne en lichte storm paraplu

Fabrication sérieuse (même si le fabricant indique "imperméable à l'eau" sur le site) et solide. Coloris proposés un peu tristes (noir un gris) pour un parcours de golf.

Le seule reproche serait la poignée qui aurait été mieux en canne, plus pratique pour tenir un parapluie de cette taille...
