AcuRite Large Digital LED Oversized Wall Clock with Date and Temperature, Perfect for Home or Office (75127M), 14.5-Inch, Red

This is a large(r than expected) clock with big, bright, sharp red numbers. It's very pleasant to look at. It was easily mounted on the wall, especially given the thoughtfully provided template for marking out the distance between the two required mounts. It also has a firm hinged plastic slab on the back for propping on a tabletop or other suitable flat surface. The power supply has a generous 9ft long cable, and can be conveniently wound around a protrusion inside the back cover to minimise any ungainly slack. It needs to be plugged in to display anything, but the cover also hides slots for two AA sized batteries, which ensure time is kept in the event of a power cut, or in general any disruption to the mains supply. Setting is extremely simple. A single central button activates the setting mode, and switches between various quantities (hour, minute, date etc.), with up and down buttons varying the number. To synchronise to the second exactly, simply use the up/down button to set the correct minute value on the turn of the minute as shown by another accurate clock, and it will start the second count from there. Nothing else to do here. There are two things about this clock which disappoint: (1) It is not radio-controlled. However, it apparently does automatically switch for BST at the right time; something that would mitigate this drawback. Whether this is true or not, and how quickly / severely time drifts, will become apparent in due course; (2) It does not have a 24-hour mode, which is something I usually insist on having. Not to mention that £42 is quite a lot for what is a very simple clock. However, it's such a nice thing, and I'm so pleased with it so far, that I'll forego deducting a star and give it the full five.

Big and very bright! Perfect for my kitchen and no one here can complain they didn't know the time when they were late in the morning! dead easy to programme and your programming is protected by two (good quality) AA batteries which you should fit, but works off 240 volts. display shows times, date, day and temperature (celsius or fahrenheit). you also programme the year so it knows when BST/GMT starts and ends. clock comes with a template to fit on the wall although it has a plinth if you want to put on a shelf or kitchen unit I have no hesitation in recommending this clock to anyone who likes their clock display very big, very bright and clear. Well worth the money.

I am AWFUL for time keeping once the winter and autumn months settle in. The near-perpetual darkness throws my whole circadian rhythm out of sync, my insomnia goes wild, i ache and my moods swing like the moons affect on the tides! So i NEEDED this to get me consciously and Unconsciously synchronized with time again, and What a Great job it has done so far. Its Bright, Clear and gives me All the information i need (Time, Date, room Temp). Getting ready in the Evenings for Bed (as I am better aware of the time) and managing my time better in the mornings means I am better organised. This is the BEST clock i have purchased - and being Digital, it is SILENT. Short of NASA themselves, I dont think anyone could have made this better (other than including a 24 format as well as AM/PM format).

Nice clock for son’s room. Too bright at night so have to put clock on its face.

Really good clock, bought to compliment a sim rig for video gaming. Really looks the part, has nice big numerals and is bright. Mounting options are also good too, the manufacturer has notches on each end to let the power cable through for easy access. I mounted mine on a plaster wall with the power fed from behind, hiding the wire. I bought x2 of them, one for now and the other to replace it when it stops working.

We have had one of these before in our factory , it gets very humid and the last one lasted about 10 years and was about the same price, very good Time -Date-Temperature easy to see

Sadly I can't give this product a zero stars review otherwise I certainly would. I purchased an Acurite 75100C 18-Inch Large Led Clock from Amazon and it started to go faulty after a couple of months. I contacted Acurite customer support and this was their response: "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. AcuRite sells and ships to the US and CA. We do not Return, Refund, or Warranty items purchased outside of the United States or Canada". What is the point of having a one year manufacturing warranty if their policy is not to refund, or replace the item. U.K buyers beware this product is a complete waste of money. The customer service from AcuRite is pathetic, avoid at all costs.

I have bought 3 of them, 2 of them after 6 months LOST DIGITAL LED time & date. I checked all settings, checked the electric cable, and the plug that comes with the clock, everything looked fine, so why it lost the digital time and date display after 6 months hanging on the wall and connected to the main power supply is a mystery, But it it totally frustrating coughing up the price of these clocks 3 times, ( as i am now waiting for the 3rd replacement to go the same way BROKE). I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLOCK TO ANY ONE THINKING ABOUT IT< TRUST ME I have had 3 and they are simply NOT WORTH THE MONEY, I am now looking for another BUT NOT THIS MAKE OR MODEL.

I bought this clock in August to help my kids keep track of the time and date for cyber schooling. I wasn't sure how I'd like a blazing red LED institutional looking clock on my wall and I was a little concerned the light would overwhelm the room. I initially preferred blue, but the price was so much higher I went with red. I decided to go with Acu-Rite over an unknown brand because I have their hygrometer that still works great five years later. Turns out, we love the clock. The red is bright and has a nice, smooth glow, but doesn't burn your eyes or discolor the room. I can easily read it from two rooms over, so I can do chores and still make sure my kids are online at the right time. There was a problem, though. Just a little over a month after hanging it on my wall, I woke up in the morning and the display was completely black. I tried another outlet, which confirmed that the clock did not work. Since it was past the return date on Amazon, I went to Acu-Rite's website and chatted with a representative. (Currently, they only offer support through chat and email due to COVID.) While on chat, I provided my receipt and pictures, and THAT SAME DAY, they shipped out a replacement. Two days later I have a working clock before the start of a new school week! I hope this new clock works for years like my hygrometer. While I can't speak to the longevity of this unit, many people seem happy with theirs based on the high reviews, and at the very least, I can say that Acu-Rite stood behind their warranty and acted extremely quickly with respect to sending out a replacement.

Cheap and cheerful, it's bright and visible from a distance. We love it.
