Good value & quality
Working well as of now just need to make sure to heat up hot end before printing and tighten up the nozzle. You truly get a lot for the $$$$ and the quality is impressive at this price point.

For the price, keep a spare!
I spent the beginning of my 3d printing career buying $175 Makebot extruders on a regular basis, so this feels like a great deal. I've done tons of printing and am on my two neptune printers, and am on 3rd replacement across two printers. I 3d print prototypes professionally, They're cheap enough that for me it makes sense to just keep a spare rather than spend engineering time trying to fix a messed up one. Great product. The low cost means I can keep a spare on hand, and the quick changeout time means even a total extruder failure means almost no down time.

Easy install and Worked like a charm on my printer after adjusting the z offset and re leveling the bed.

Solid replacement, worked better than the head that came with my printer
My printhead that came with elegoo didn't work properly out of the box and when I tried to repair it I broke a crucial part, this replacement worked better than the original ever did.

Poor quality
This is my third extruder in two months. Pieces just start falling off; solder points pop off or melt. Buy a Prusa XL, it'll be cheaper in the long run. Elegoo makes support as difficult as possible and don't honor the warranty.

Check all bolts on your kit some my be stipped out.
As far as I can tell it should be a fully working kit. However I have a flowtech hotebd that I use and found out the hard way that one the hex bolts that hold the whole hotend inside this kit was stiped out to the point I could not get a anything to hold it to be able to brake it free. So instead of trashing it or dealing with sending it back and hoping a praying that I get a useable one. I just parted out the stuff that I need to fix my old one. So in the long run I get a fully working kit by parts two together to get one fully working one.
