I received my book yesterday and I could not be more pleased with it. There are pages of Joanne's incredible artwork to color while praying or meditating. The paper is just the right thickness. It includes several pages for a prayer list.There is a perpetual calendar at the back of the book. The right hand pages are for writing down what you're grateful for and whatever particular prayer you need. One of the things I really like is that these pages are not dated, so there is no pressure to write every day. You do it whenever you need to. The left hand pages are either graced with Joanne's artwork ready to be colored, or spaces labeled "Please', "Sorry", "Wow" & "Thanks" that you can fill in as you like. As is God's way, I received this book at exactly the right time in my life. I'm going through some difficult times and now I have a place to keep my prayers that is artful too. By the time I add my own coloring, my book will be even more beautiful. Since the pages aren't dated, I am going to buy a few more because I know I will want to keep them around. I start journaling and have a journal for everything except for spirituality. So I'm looking forward to using this journal, it has everything that you need, from a prayer lists to dates to remember.

My bad--my previous review was most unfair. Caught up in "just a prayer list" mentality the beauty and charm of this book required a more careful look-through. First of all, the art is is nicely done with appropriate quotes and Bible verses accompanying them. Second, if you like to color there are lovely pages to personalize in your own style. Third, and not least!, the perpetual calendar in the back of the book is great. Each month has a lovely drawing to color. And, for Anne Lamont fans, her prayer prompts include "please", "sorry", "wow", and "thanks." The paper quality is amazing for such a reasonably priced item. I'm already figuring out which of the people in my world would love to have one of these delightful books. Hearty thanks to Joanne Fink!

What a great gift! I purchased 3. The Journal features such beautiful artwork and is flexible to meet so many different journaling and prayer needs. The Journal provides options for those who really are into journaling and for those like me, who don't have time - the opportunity to have meaningful reflection and remember those who need my energy and prayers.

This is more a prayer "list." There's lots of beautiful illustrations, but they do not leave much room to write. I actually need to find another one. But, if you don't like recording feelings about requests, history behind requests, or ways prayers were answered, this may be the book for you. I just am not enthralled with it.

I gave this hardcover book as a gift. It is very colorful, although the art style is kind of 1970’s pop art. You can color in it—sometimes it is suggested that you do this to record an answer to prayer. It reminds you regularly to check your prayer list so that you can see the answers God has given you. I liked that feature a lot. It has prompts for writing (daily) what you are grateful for, a verse or portion of Scripture you are thinking about, etc. Overall a nice book, just not my style of art.

Beautiful journal and excited to start using it. The reason for the 4 stars is that I need more room on the prayer “list” to make comments and a place for “answered” prayers. One of the reviews said there was a place in the back for answered prayers but there isn’t. That comment was what promoted me to purchase this. That’s ok, I will make it work

Love love LOVE this journal. It’s so colorful and creative. It has such a unique art and feel to it that’s different from all the other prayer journals for women. Can’t wait to start coloring in it and making it my own.

Very thought provoking book

I’m super chuffed with this book. It doesn’t matter if I miss a day. I’ve recommended it to my friends already. It’s e celebrating quality.
