Possibly the best book I've read this year
Wow, just wow. I read the prequel, then immediately this, I could not put them down.Great writing, characters with lots of secrets and depth, slowly, creeping, dawning horror as you realise everything that's happening and that has been going on, and the depth of betrayal.....arch, just wow. (Sprints off to devour book 2....)

Wild ride!
The story was a bit convulated, but the writing was amazing, the tension of the roof and damn some good spicy scenes in there and to sprinkle it off just the right amount of madness!! What a ride! Will go straight to the next book

give me more please 😁❤️
E P Bali is a new (to me) author … and I am loving her writing style …everything about this book is great … FMC who is likeable …. MMCs who are the right blend of crazy and hot … sprinkles of humour / sass/ attitude / heat and a great story line …. minimal spelling/ grammar/ word placement mistakes is always a pleasant surprise … honestly I wish more books were as good as this …. now on to book 2⭐️ because the author deserves some recognition and kudos for taking the time and energy to write this - (but please don’t make me read it again) … however correct word use / spelling / grammar / punctuation / professional proof reading and editing are a vital necessity all writers need to fully embrace like a long lost and greatly desired lover and never let go of …⭐️⭐️ so close and yet so far for … loved the concept just not the delivery for various reasons … but most likely because of the glaringly obvious lack of professional proofreading and editing skills … and /or … one … if not all … of the main characters made me want to slap them (and not in a good / fun/ sexy way) because they were utterly annoying or worse boring …. but i am sure some other readers will love it… just not me ..⭐️⭐️⭐️ things that make you go hmmmm …. but not : oh my god yes give me more … and because correct spelling/ grammar/ punctuation and professional proof reading and editing of a book are essential for any story to flow smoothly …. still worth the time to read … who knows you might love it …⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ definitely worthy of songs of praise and numerous re reads …but not quite a 5⭐️ simply because of editing/ spelling / grammar / punctuation/ wrong words used / wrong names or wrong physical descriptions of main characters / minor story line issues (all things that are a pet hates of mine and make me grumpy) which interrupted the flow of the story and forced me out of my happy reading bubble and back into reality …⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ gah… I’ve found the meaning of life and couldn’t stuff the story into my greedy brain fast enough …. loved it so much i will willingly make snacks / give massages / oversee human sacrifices if it helps the author ( who is a true god/ goddess of story telling and worthy of worship and copious amounts of adulation ) write more books immediately so i can buy them and hoard them like a wanna be dragon ….in other words … drop everything and read this book right now and you can thank me later 😁

interesting world and enjoyed the mystery
I enjoyed the read, and will be looking for the next in the series. I wasn't aware that there was a prequel to this and I think it would have been clearer if I had read it. As this starts after she has already met her mates, so it takes a little time to catch up to what is happening.I like the characters, and that it isn't insta love. There is obviously a connection between some of them, even if they are fighting against it.Most of the book just seemed to revolve around revenge and nothing much else, and whilst I understand it is a slow burn there seemed to be little development in the plot and characters and was just focused around anger and miscommunication. I think from the next in the series, I would like to see more action and plot development alongside the characters development.I did have to remind myself that the characters are not 17/18 year old, as there is a lot of pettiness and the lack of any sort of communication was a little repetitive. Why did they make the deal, why would they want to kill their regina? Why did she not ask them why they were hunting her and had made the deal? It just seemed a little confusing especially as she was banished by her father and told never to meet her mates, but then he sends them to capture her and it turns out he wants her back? Feels a little like whiplash.BUT I did really enjoy the authors writing, and the mystery shrouding the other mates and the overall world created.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

All Over the Place
The flow of the story was disjointed and so many things just didn’t make sense—like the author forgot key plot points. Maybe the prequel would make the whole storyline more coherent but then either the story was badly written in the first place or the prequel should have been book one. Anyway, won’t be continuing on this series and I have no idea how this book has so many good reviews. Truly baffling. The writing was okay but the plot was just messy and the characterisations boring, leaving me with little to recommend.

Love The Twists!
This is a fantastic take on a shifter romance. I love, love, love the world-building and the magical structure. Lia is a BA character without resorting to the one-dimensional Strong FMC™️. She has weaknesses and flaws but she works hard to play up her strengths and to not back down. I love the friendships that she builds - I’m a big fan of solid friend groups outside of the love interests and this series has to start of a beautiful one!The spice is on the lower side which makes sense. The MMCs have their own traumas to work through as they figure out what the heck is happening with their mate. There will need to be some serious groveling in future books, for sure. We also haven’t met all of Lia’s mates yet, so I’m extra excited to see what happens next!

Such a bingeable read!
4.5🌟This is so bingeable! It's giving ZA vibes but at a prison academy. Very cool world filled with shifters called animus/anima and interesting magic. Great queer rep. Adorable animal companions and delish tension. RH can be hit or miss for me but this is done so well and love where it is going! Cliffhanger and so glad I can dive into book 2.Check your triggers def dark themes.

wonderful
This book completely involved me right away, it consumed me with sensations, I love RH and twisted relationship, lots of emotions I shared with the protagonists. It does not give a moment of emotional respite, the author adopts a very fluent type of writing. I recommend to read the Prequel in order to better understand the plot and its involvement. The world building is such a wonder! It is a truly emotional, exciting book, the relationship between the protagonists is very complicated, you perceive right from the start that, in addition to the undeniable sexual attraction that triggers at first glance, and the intense chemistry that is felt in the scenes and foreplay between the girl and two mates, there is much more...and I can’t stand to wait for the next chapter.

I am Obsessed! This is a fun, wild ride!
“I’m a predator. I’m a beast like no other.”Her Feral Beasts was a wild ride. I am completely hooked. I cannot get enough of this world. And that ending? My heart aches for Aurelia. I am in love with everything about this. It has all my favourite things – a school setting, a why choose romance, rival shifter courts with a high-stakes plot.Aurelia is the banished daughter of the Serpent King. Ever since her thirteenth birthday, when she did not present as a serpent and the oracle advised that she fated to have five mates from five different orders. Something unheard of. Her father raised her in fear that she would be hunted down and bred if anyone were to discover what her beast was. Her father drags her into one last job. In quick succession, she is sold into marriage, on the run and framed for murder. Aurelia has no plan beyond trying to survive. She’s intercepted by the dangerous deputy headmaster of Animus Academy, who offers her sanctuary in the reform school for rabid and criminal animalia. She has no choice but to accept. After enrolling, she was not expecting to be trapped in the academy with her mates. The men she’s taught to avoid her whole life and the men who were hired to hunt her down and bring her back to the Serpent Court for execution. As you can imagine, the romance is a slow burn. Aurelia is the Regina – or centre of her pack – but complicated and mixed assumptions are causing some delicious tension. Savage is the mate who struggles the most with not claiming his mate. He will 100% be the one to crack first. It will be interesting to see how Aurelia’s relationship with Lyle, Scythe and Xander develops throughout the rest of the series.I loved getting to learn about the different Animalia orders. Each animalia has a different magic type that they control. For example, wolves are telepaths, eagles are healers and cats have telekinesis abilities. I cannot wait to see more of this.Overall, I completely adored this. This is over 500 pages, and I read it in 2 days while also working. If you love a dramatic, why choose paranormal romance with rival courts and a school setting Her Feral Beasts is the book for you! And, thankfully, the sequel is already out because, trust me, you will need it. I pick the sequel up right away. I needed to know everyone was okay!

Great Read
I really enjoyed the way this book is written and the overall story. The FMC is kind and strong, but the secrets she kept annoyed me. Savage is maybe redeemable, but I don't have much patience for the others at the moment. I absolutely adore the pack of friends Lia has - especially Minnie, reading about women supporting each other in books is liberating!
