Convenient little water heater
I ordered this water heater for use in a workshop location where there is no hot water. I don't need a lot of hot water there but whenI need to wash my hands or some parts I didn't want to be limited to sometimes ice cold water...especially in the winter. This little water heater is the perfect solution. It fits inline between the regular cold water line and the faucet and provides 4 gallons of hot water on demand. This is plenty for many uses such as washing hands or parts and I don't have to pay to heat way more water than I'd ever use. It's very easy to install and operate and the unit itself looks well made and durable. I appreciate the titanium-lined glass tank as it keeps the water clean. I do have a high mineral content in my water including a lot of calcium so a pre-filter was necessary to keep the small tank from getting encrusted with mineral deposits. Overall this is a great little water heater for such use cases.

Tiny hot water
This water heater is small in output, but not quite as small in size. It's a low power alternative to the big tankless heaters, and it only puts out a little bit of warm-hot water at a time. You can definitely run out of hot water with this if you leave the faucet running for too long, but it's a good option for sinks or other areas that are not used as frequently. Totally removes the need for a central boiler to have to be routed to the location where this is being used. Works well.

Good hot water option for bath far from water heater
We have a bathroom that has about 100ft of 1/2" copper pipe. That contains a little over 1 gallon of water (0.0121 gpf) so when we turn on the hot water in that bath we have to waste about 1 gallon before the hot starts running hot. The bathroom faucet is going to flow about 1 gpm so would have about a minute wait for hot water. This heater provides instant hot water at this location for up to 4 gallons. It is a 4 gallon tank so plenty to wash hands or rinse a shaver, etc. It takes about 5 min for the tank to heat our warmer South Florida water so recovery is quick. This is a great option for hot water on longer pipe runs. Because it is a tank heater the power draw does not require a 220 high amp circuit like a tankless would.

No tech support
Bought the unit in April and two nights ago discovered water under the unit. My inspection revealed that the pressure relief valve was leaking. Used the manual and tried to call Tech support by using the number provided to try to get a valve replacement....The number ended up connecting me to a apartment rental unit management company with absolutely no connection to Geesen. Also tried the email address provided but have not so far received any response. Also two weeks after installation one of the water braided hook up lines that were provided developed a pin hole leak and flooded my under sink cabinet. The unit has worked so far in terms of providing hot water but would recommend that you buy decent hook up lines. The relief valve replacement was no problem since Amazon has them in stock for about $10.

Solved problem...wife happy.
For some reason our CA home was built with the hot water heater in the garage. This means a long run of pipe to get hot water to the kitchen sink and a lot of aggravation and wasted water waiting many minutes to get a bit of hot water just to wash your hands or rinse a few dishes. Momma was never happy with this (and neither was I for that matter). The Gesen 4 gallon "point of use" water heater has totally solved our problem and saved a marriage to boot. The unit is relatively easy to install PROVIDED you have the correct water valves and 110 volt outlet where you want the heater located. We wanted to install our heater under the kitchen sink and there were shut off valves in place but they were old, a bit leaky and they needed to be changed out so we could "split" the cold water and limit the old hot water valve to just the dishwasher. Swapping out those old valves turned out to be the most frustrating and time consuming part of the installation since the old compression fittings would not come off the copper pipe. After a lot of swearing and cutting off the old 1/2" copper pipes I finally got the new shut off valves installed. Also there was a bit of a problem with the electrical outlet under our sink which was used to run the disposal and when you turned off the disposal it turned off both of the receptacles of the outlet. Fortunately I had a spare "wireless" controller outlet which I was able to plug into the top receptacle. This allowed me keep the old disposal wall switch always in the "ON" position...meaning both receptacles where now always "HOT" but I could now control the top (disposal) outlet with the remote control switch which we mounted on the sink cabinetry. You can see this remote controlled outlet in the background of the second photo. We also installed a timer on the lower outlet which powers the new hot water heater to save a bit of energy (also shown in the second photo). The timer shuts the heater off for 11 nighttime hours when we have no need for hot water at the sink. The first photo shows the Gesen located behind the disposal and directly under our sink along with the cold water inlet and hot water outlet. We have the heater set to produce 120 degree F water which turns out to be about at the 3/4 setting on the control dial. So if you need even hotter water, the unit could produce it. It takes between 8-9 minutes to heat our incoming well water (about 50-55 degree) to the full120 degree temperature. You know when the water is fully heated when the LED on the heater turns from red to green. We couldn't be happier with the output of this water heater and we are now looking at similar units for our master bath and guest bath. Love this thing.

Well-made product
I ordered this for the RV and it looks like a quality product. It has not been installed yet so I can't comment on how it works. The material looks well made and I have no qualms about installing this. I'll update after installation, it's not something I can do on my own and I'll need help. Happy with order so far.

Perfect to hook up to Bidet
So I mounted this under my sink cabinet but that means way less room for storage space underneath. I have this running to my bidet seat. I really didn't like having cold water to wash down there. Now I have it set to warm and it's perfect for the short time that I use it. Since, I'm not using this to heat up water for a sink, or shower etc.. I can't really comment on if the hot water last a long time or not. For my uses this is a great product.

Fits well in the RV
This is a very compact unit so the install under the RV sink was fairly easy. It came with all the supplies needed to get it connected and the instructions were easy to follow on the install. It's very handy having hot water basically on demand so you're not wasting water down the drain waiting for the hot water to arrive, especially out camping where water isn't as conveniently obtained. I would order this again.

Looks good
This device will be solving a long-standing problem at the family cabin, four hours north of here. However, it can't be installed until summer, or late spring at the earliest, so at this time I am not able to comment on how well (or not) it actually performs. What I can say is that it arrives very well packaged, with no visible damage to box or contents. The outer carton is heavy duty cardboard, and the water heater itself is packed in solid styrofoam that is shaped to accommodate the parts and accessories. The plastic housing feels solid and durable. The power cord and plug appear to be heavy duty, and of good quality. None of the parts seems to me to be at all flimsy or cheap. There is an Operation Manual included, and while it obviously has been created by someone whose first language is not English, it is fairly clear and can be followed. This Manual covers installation and maintenance, with several cautionary notes and references to safe use procedures. The water heater is compact, and quite attractive in appearance, as it appears in the photos on the product listing page. In its currently planned location, it will be inside a cabinet, and therefor out of sight, but if for any reason that plan changes, it's nice to know that this device is not an eyesore. If we encounter any problems with the installation, or with the performance of the water heater, I will update this review. But at this point, I am quite impressed with the apparent quality of the product, and I am pleased to have it.
