It’s not as heavy duty as others how ever I prefer that for things you want easier to clip and unclip i have a few that are almost to hard to open and shut single handedly. I wanted a stainless clip for my crab and shrimp traps and this Scuba Diving Spearfishing Stainless Steel Shark Clip with Bolt suits the need well. It is expensive, but will last almost indefinitely. I will not rely on this clip to take the full weight of my traps when pulling in but it will provide me a way to attach additional indication of the traps when in use (bouys and floats from the traps). This is a well made product, about 5 1/2" long and the spring tension is good. The Swivel is close to 2" long and stout. It won't rust out and I'll get use from it for decades. 5 stars, even at the hefty price!

Great clips for building out Spearfishing gear. I ordered 3, and 2 came in one shipment, and 1 came by itself and did not contain a swivel. What the heck.
