Perfect range bag
I went to the range today with a XDM .40 3.8 and a Ruger SR22 in the interior side pouches, shooting glasses in one of the interior end pouches. In the main bay it's just one big area but does have 6 elastic magazine holders along one side, for pistol magazines. The bottom felt pretty sturdy but I knew I was going to be using this area for buttloads of ammo so I measured it out and cut the box Amazon shipped me to size and inserted it. Today I had 300 rounds of .40, 70 of .380, and a box of about 400 .22lr and had no problems. It also held my ear muffs, and speed loader. On one flat side is a zippered compartment with 5 more elastic magazine holders also for pistols, and some room for various knickknacks. On that same side are two flapped pockets for anything else. I keep a multitool, a bag of spare ear plugs, and a little container for my own ear plugs. The larger flapped pouch has a clear pocket for ID or something. On the other flat side it's flatter and has two little pockets for thinner objects and three pen holders. There is also a 5" x 3.5" fabric area for velcro patches or name tapes. The fabric and zippers are top notch. Everything slides smoothly, feels very sturdy and not once have I worried that I may damage a zipper. There's padding all over this thing. Because of this it's kind of blocky.Overall I love this bag. I had my old bag for a couple of months but couldn't stand not having any pockets except for just some dividers inside. It left my glasses and magazines all floating around. If I wanted to carry a multitool it would also have been floating around bashing everything else up. With this bag and all its pockets I'm now able to actually bring a pen and Sharpie to mark up targets. My glasses are completely safe in its own little compartment and I know that I still have plenty of room to throw in a staple gun for the outdoor ranges. Did I say I love this bag? Those magazine straps won't hold 5.56 round magazines so don't even bother trying. They do however fit double stack .40 magazines and anything smaller, even my .380 Bodyguard magazines just fine. The only problem I have sometimes is my XDM compact extended magazines have big attachments so you can't put two right next to each other. There are 11 magazine slots though so not like I'm worried.UPDATE Sept 12, 2016: The bag still gets almost weekly and at least bi-weekly use and still no threads are coming undone and zippers are working perfectly. I am still very very happy with this purchase.

Detailed description but great buy.
I was looking for a good range bag. This is the perfect size with tons of great storage and internal webbing for spare mags, pens, flashlight or anything else you may want. Externally there is a larger side pocket on one side which is almost the length and height of the bag. When you unzip that pocket there are two smaller pouches that velcro shutout either side. Each of them is big enough to perhaps had a small pad. My local store is out of the write in the rain pads but that's what I'll use use at least one for. In between those is 3 webbing straps ideal for a pen, flashlight and another pen.on the outside of the large zippered pocket we were just in is a large velcro patch about 3 in x 5 in. On the opposite side there are two pouches that have the tops fold over and velcro shut. On this side one is a little wider than the other and gas a clear soft plastic I'd sleeve. On either end of the bag there is a pouch that has the tp fold over to velcro shut I keep my Gerber multitool in one. Inside there again are two pouches about the same size on either end but open ended on top.on either side there are two large open padded pouches that run the length of the bag and almost as high. On one of the sides facing the open area in the center of the bag there are 6 webbing straps perfect for extra mags. I keep a knife in one as well.both of these large internal side pockets have a piece of velcro in the center on the side of them where a strap comes down to close them. It is not a super snug fit but that's ok.If it was nothing could fit in them. Also, the top of the bag zips closed using a handle that is connected to a zipper on either side and meet at the other end. Once it's zipped closed it also has a velcro strap on the closing end that feeds through the handle ensuring a secure close. It can be carried by the had straps or by an adjustable padded shoulder strap that is included. All zippers and stitching seems well made. Near each corner on the bottom there is a small rubber piece meant to act as feet and slow down wear and tear. Overall, it's an excellent choice for the price. Just don't try to use it as luggage. The stitching is ok but putting it through lots of hard wear will probably make it start to fray.

Great bag
I have used this bag many times so far! Really sturdy and well made, and the camo pattern makes it stand out from other range bags. Lots of pockets and the zippers feel like they will last a long time. Good size for day trips, we've taken it fishing, shooting, etc, you can pack a few snacks and drinks in there too. Great purchase.
