I’ve been drinking a low acid coffee from Puroast...which was just ‘ok’. Then I got a shipment that was obviously tainted somehow. What had looked like normal, coffee colored grounds were now jet black and tasted like sludge.Trucup is more expensive but it’s very good for a low acid coffee. It fills the house with that yummy, deep aroma of a nice coffee while brewing. Even better in an aero press. Highly recommended.

I developed acid in my stomach after drinking other coffee beans and thought I would try this one. I was really excited to try it but I regret that I bought it. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but it seems like the beans are very stale. I've bought enough coffee beans to know that they should smell very pungent and fresh and these are not. it's not worth my trouble to return them or exchange them. I just won't buy them again

Brief backstory:I ordered a bag of Light and a bag of Medium roast to gauge Trücup’s roasting scale. I followed that up with an order for 5 lbs of Light roast. But this order was indistinguishable from Medium. (Remember that bag of Medium roast earlier? I’d never opened it, so I had a point of reference.)I received a follow up email from Trücup. I responded with a detailed explanation—with pictures—telling how the coffee did not meet my expectations. I expressed disappointment but mentioned nothing about replacement.A few days later a package arrived. It was a 5 lb replacement bag of almost perfectly roasted Light roast [by my standards, where no beans are to the dark chocolate stage, with a minimum surface oil (no obvious sheen). The ground bouquet is a wonderfully roasted almost sweet coffee-nuttiness with none of the espresso undertones that start to show up in contemporary medium roasts.] Add to that, it's wonderfully low acid, approved by sensitive stomachs.OK, Trücup. If you keep roasting it like this, consider this start of a long-term relationship. And I might tell a couple people along the way what fabulous coffee and fabulous service you deliver.

I have a very sensitive stomach and I can enjoy this coffee without the stomach burn. And The Taste is delightful.

Tasted smooth, and wonderful, but two hours later, my throat burns from drinking it. It had a nice flavor, but I can see this is not going to work for me. Very sad.

Exceptionally good! Wish they had this in Keurig cups!

As advertised, low acid did not upset my stomach and had a nice, mild, non-bitter/non-battery-acid coffee flavor.
