Great science experiment
This worked great. We had to do a science experiment with it for germs and my kids loved it! I'm glad that it came in a reasonable size and price!

Works great
I use this to show how my cleaning products beat the standard advertised products. It shows the demo very well.

AWESOME! Helpful tips below...
This stuff is so neat! I bought it to use with a group of 30 homeschoolers ranging in age from 3-12. I did quite a bit of experimenting prior to the class to make sure I understood the characteristics. For me, I found that the powder applied to the hands on it's own was not going to work. You could see the powder a bit with the naked eye, which wasn't what I was going for. The liquid form of GloGerm was too expensive, so I decided to add about a tsp of powder to 1 tbsp of lotion, mix it well, then rub a bit into my hands. It disappeared completely! Then I touched the counter, some paper, a pencil, etc. Using a blacklight flashlight, I found the "germs" transferred nicely to every surface I touched (as long as I touched firmly, not just a light butterfly touch). They also made my hands practically glow! The "germs" were illuminated and visible even when I was standing in daylight in my house, but of course visibility is better in a darkened room. To wash off, liquid soaps works better than bar soap. You will need to scrub for at least 20 seconds all around, then thoroughly rinse under running water. If you don't wash for that long, it won't come off that well. This really does teach good hand washing technique. The next day, the kids smeared this all over their hands, looked under the blacklight, then washed their hands with no instructions given. Needless to say, many still had "germs" on their hands after the first washing. They then traced their hands and shaded the problem areas where they need to focus when washing hands, and then washed their hands again, with instruction this time. All hands came out clean after that second washing. Very powerful! My children still wash well and remember this object lesson! Highly recommend! This has a LOT of powder. We used it for 30 kids and had some made-up lotion left over to send home with them (to show their dads) and only ended up using about 1/4 of an inch of the powder in the container!

does it job--but the teacher was worried it would hurt the eyes
we got this to demonstrate handwashing/germs at home. took it in for show and tell--but the teacher limited our demo to just my kid. the main concern was if it got into someone's eyes.so although i like this product, it being an eye irritant makes it a little less than perfect. it would be a bad outcome if we did a "blind" demo in class (where the kids don't discover until later they have glogerm somewhere on them) and someone accidentally rubs their eyes (which is pretty common).

a little messy but very worth the extra cleanup
I sprinkled it on hands of 3-4 year olds and we went on a germ hunt with heap black light flashlights. It glowed without it being completely dark. You only need a tiny sprinkle. 1 bottle could easily do 100 kids. I did try to mix it with lotion but I didn't like the way that rubbed in and made entire hand white. The kids loved seeing the germs that disappear when lights turn on.

FIRST PLACE IN SCIENCE FAIR!🥇
My daughter did a Science Fair Project on “How Germs Are Spread And How To Stop It”. First thing she did was add this to lotion and rubbed it on her hands. She then went around shaking people’s hands. She gave her presentation explaining how long it took to wash off with three different types of soap and water temperatures, showing how the powder transfers from her hands to a coffee cup, how it transfers from the outside of an apple to the inside when cut, and then she had surprised everyone explaining how she had glow powder on her hands when she greeted them. Everyone loved how the powder glowed on their hands without them knowing it was there.

It Works
I had a blacklight (UV) flashlight for a while and not much use for it. This powder is pretty cool to use, whether you're trying to see germ spread or trying to set a trap for a thief. If you intend to put it on a dark surface in a concealed manner, it might be better to find a liquid spray instead
