The black ceramic is easy to clean and has dressed up our kitchen that has black granite countertops. The burners light instantly and burn very clean and hot. It fit perfectly into the cutout from our old cooktop and was easy to install. The grates do not move as they are seated into the top so there is no danger when shifting pots that are filled with boiling liquid. We are thrilled with this cooktop and highly recommend it. It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition.

Went to the big box stores and placed an order for this stovetop. I was told it would be at least 2 months. 2 months later I’m wondering where my stovetop is that I paid for in advance. Called big box (Lowes) and they said none were available in the US for at least 6 more weeks. I cancelled my order order the EXACT SAME item and it was delivered to my door in less than a week at the same price.I love cooking with gas. I just switched over, which is why I needed this item. It is terrific. The center burner is huge and boils water very quickly. The grates are heavy cast iron and easy to remove to clean the top. I couldn’t be happier with this.Now, if I could just get Lowes to return my $$ that I pre-paid for the maintenance plan I’d be all set.

We have this cooktop for close to a 2 months now. It works fine, easy to clean and looks good. I have a couple of issues, 1 is top right side back burner is so small that it's useless. Back burners are small and front burners are bigger. Who designs these things. Family with kids won't use front burners as they are dangerous, I don't want to put heavy boiling pots in the front because then back burners are not reachable. Another issue is 1 of my knobs melted even though I very rarely use front burners. On the description it says knobs are metal, they are not. I am not sure how to get a replacement. I am so upset.

Great cook top! Middle high heat burner awesome. Knobs cheap black plastic and 3 of mine melted within 1st month or 2. (Upgraded to steel knobs but after few years awhile the protective paint finish on knob started peeling. Not atractive ) Stovetop little difficult to clean but don’t let it get too dirty or you’ll never get it looking super great again. Yes, I’d purchase again with tweaks.

We replaced our 4 burner 30” Whirlpool gas cooktop with the 5 burner Frigidaire Gallery. I ordered from Amazon fulfilled by “Woot.” None of the local vendors had one available. I was concerned that other reviewers had broken grill tops. Ours arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. And, it was much less expensive than the listings at HD & BB. I got the black as it’s easier to keep clean than stainless. We did not want to re-template our granite counters. The width fit and I had a carpenter cut 3/4” or so off the back to conform the depth opening to fit. The cooktop comes set for natural gas. I had my licensed heating guys stop by to convert it to use with propane. I may have them back to lower the “low” settings as they are hotter than needed for that setting. It’s a beautiful cooktop. We love the fast boil large burner in the center. We’ve been using it for a few weeks and so far, we are pleased. While we needed professional help with the installation, we are happy with our choice. I’m glad I took a chance on “Woot”. It worked for us. This cooktop is a great upgrade if not re-doing the entire kitchen.Update: Today we lowered the flame settings: Here's how:Step 1: Light the burner and turn to the lowest low setting. Now pull the surface burner knob straight off to access the burner adjuster.Step 2: Insert the end of the screwdriver into the surface knob's opening on the range. Continue into the opening until the screwdriver makes contact with the burner's screw.Step 3: Jiggle the screwdriver to ensure the blade is securely inserted into the screw's slot.Step 4: Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise to increase the size of the burner flame or turn the screwdriver clockwise to lower the burner's flame.Step 5: Remove the screwdriver from the range's opening and insert the surface control knob back onto the range with Low setting aligned. Turn the knob to off.Step 6: Turn it on and check your adjustment. The flame should remain lit at the burner's lowest setting without turning off. Turn it off.Step 7: Repeat this process as desired with each of the other burners.

I was going to buy this model at a retail store. Price at store was about $500 higher. Got the exact same model from Amazon much cheaper and in a couple days. Easy to install, but didn’t notice it was thicker than the old unit. Had to cut down the drawer under my stovetop and have limited clearance in drawer. Works great, the center burner is super powerful.

Likes: It looks good and it warms up food very quickly. I received compliments on it. Plenty of room for cooking in 5 pots in the same time. I also like the knobs. They are made of metal and very comfortable to turn.Dislikes: The grates are very high ...almost 1.5 inches higher than the other Frigidaire I owned. It makes it look a little bulky. Also, the center grate has a little surface in the back that looks unfinished. It’s not big enough for a spoon rest. I don’t know the use of it.Compliments to Amazon for fast shipping.

I bought this gas cooktop to replace an old style black glass gas unit that was impossible to keep clean. This unit fits the old 30” cutout perfectly. Installation was a breeze (YouTube is your friend!).The porcelain finish cleans easily, and looks great. Professional style grates complete the look.Cooking is much faster with the center burner. Well pleased!
