My son enjoyed it for a few weeks
Loud, loud....loud, but worked and kept kids entertained. I have no complaints abouts the mechanics. We even dropped hot wheel cars in there, some with edges the claw would catch on, and it grabbed them. It's light, cheap, plastic, and it's going to break probably sooner rather than later, but it'll probably outlast a kids interest in grabbing little thing with a noisy plastic claw. My son enjoyed it for a few weeks, and I was glad when he moved onto another toy. I feel like I got my money's worth of enjoyment out of it. I'd probably be fun to set up at a party, maybe for teens, with a few nicer party favors in it (like for a girls sweet 16- put earrings in there, give the girls a chance to grab a pair) or like we did with the hot wheels, it kept the boys focused on something other than a video game. I think it eventually stopped working, about 2 months later, but I'm not sure if that was because it broke or because the boys did something to it. I've had no desire to repair it.

Purchased 5 this past Christmas. They all work.
This was my go-to gift this year for exchanges and family. I ended up purchasing 5 total. I was initially hesitant after reading the reviews about alot of them being dysfunctional, but for 40 bucks I said, why not. I gave the first one to my wife before christmas so she could be the test dummy. Its a little bit cumbersome to get the packaging off of the crane, but because I read the reviews, we were extra careful not to beat it around trying to set it up. After we got the batteries in and put the first coin in, it was a blast! I wish you could turn the music off/down but kids love it. The motor is not strong enough to pick up bigger/heavier (not even that big) candies but it is forced portion control! My wife took hers to school to let her students play when they do review games for reward. The other ones we gave out as gifts were just as good. I gave the same warning about them potentially being fragile, and so far no problems. It is a kids toy. It does feel fairly cheep, but it is fun, addictive and I would say worth every penny.

It’s fun
Bought this for my nephew. He loves it. It works accurately enough. Do not fill too high, otherwise the claw does not work. The sound is so loud my sister almost killed me for buying it. But just unscrew the bottom and cut the little blue wire!!!! Super easy! Only took like 5 min to take apart and put back together!!! No sound!

Stopped working
Bought this in October for a Christmas gift. Taking it out of the box to place batteries in it, and fill the arcade we experimented with the controls. It cycled about 2 times then stopped after a few seconds. I presume it is defective as repeated attempts with new batteries failed to get it working properly. But, since I purchased it so early, no return now. I would not buy this again, just happy we found out before Christmas morning. Buyer beware.....

not terrible
this might have just been me getting too excited and having higher hopes about this little machine but i ordered little squishy toys that come in those round plastic containers (like you’d get in a quarter machine) to put inside for a birthday present. first off- when you open this, you have to unscrew the entire top just to take the zip tie off of the claw, which is just annoying and tedious. from reading other reviews i knew it would be loud so i can’t really complain about that but it would be nice to have a volume switch. now on to the goods- the 2” toys fit inside of the machine no problem however they kept sliding out of the claw bc there’s just really no grip at all. without the plastic containers i was able to pick up the toys, however i could only put about 5 inside to have enough room to open the claw. also going on what other reviews said about not being able to pick up candy, my overall opinion is this: its not terrible for squishy toys but it’s not at all worth the $60 price point. hope this helps!

So much fun!
I was worried about quality and durability as I bought for my autistic cousin. He has well over 48hrs of playtime and it's still working no issues.

A perfect gift!
I bought this for my grandson’s 8th birthday, it was a BIG hit! Not only was he so happy to play with it, but all his friends were in line waiting to use it too! The parents all put that on their Christmas list and told me what a great toy!

Bien
Es de buen tamaño, no resiste el peso de un carrito hotwheels que era para lo que lo quería pero aun así a mi hijo le encantó. Le quitaría la música pero no se como, tiene el volumen muy alto
