I used these to keep my dog from snatching the remote and chewing on it. While it worked to deter her from stealing the remote, my kids kept bending the wire. They broke one, so now it doesn't retract. They have taken the sticky materials off the remote a few times so I've had to get a velcro sticky which works for a bit. It did it's job though.

Now that I’m in my 60’s i misplace things all the time. Remotes were especially frustrating for me as I’d lose them several times every day. These work GREAT to avoid that issue. I absolutely love these remote control leashes! They are the perfect length and size. My husband and kids are constantly losing the remotes. I couldn’t take it any longer. I tried a remote holder but still lost them all the time. When I saw these I knew they’d make me happy. I stuck these leashes to our remote box holder and attached them easily to our remotes. It’s now been three blissful weeks of no lost remotes!!!! It was well worth the money for me to not have to search daily for the remote. Just buy it.

I use these under two open frame computer desks to keep the keyboard and mouse wires held up and tidy/out of view while allowing the keyboard tray to slide in and out and simultaneously keeping tension on the cables to pull them upwards and keep them out of view instead of having all the cable slack dangle down when the tray is pushed in. This is necessary due to the open frame look and also because the desk faces the middle of the room instead of facing a wall. The spring tension is perfect and they work seamlessly for a great price.
