Barry Farm Citric Acid, 4 oz.

After reading the other reviews on this product I was a bit weary of purchasing, but everything met or exceeded me expectations. The price was as low as I could find for 4oz of citric acid. I paid for standard shipping which was a typical price for the size of the package, not overpriced as others have stated, it said it may take up to two weeks to arrive. But, to my surprise, it arrived two business days later, (faster than the unrelated item I purchased off Amazon the same day, that I paid two day shipping for). It arrived in a heat sealed bag, and is also resealable to keep it dry. The quality of the citric acid is as good as any other I've received. I use it to make frozen sour pops for my kids, and they came out as good as always. I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely use this seller in the future.

I used this product for another reason than most people would. I used it with a protocol for cleaning in my front load washing machine to take care of the smell of some of the towels and washcloths which is mildew but only smells when towel is wet. I got the protocol from google and it worked well. I hate that sour smell on towels when they have been freshly washed.

Wish I had known how much was needed. This was recommended with another purchase - bath bomb kit. 4 oz. Not enough for the recipe. Had to go out to store.

This product was delivered even earlier than I had expeced. It is inexpensive and it is good for many purposes: • When I make jam or jellies and run out of lemon juice I substitute it with citric acid • My oak kitchen butcher block counter sometimes gets spotty between oiling. A paste of water, citric acid and salt rubbed on the spot makes it disappear in no time. • The same works for red wine on a white tablecloth. t has to be done immediately, though • Dipping fruit into a solution of water and citric acid keeps the fruit from getting brown. •There are many more things you can do with it – just check it out on the internet! And one package lasts a long time.

I am very upset with myself for not reading the package amount closer. No way would I willingly pay this price for 4 oz. Packages. And the fact I can not return for a refund makes me even more upset. If you need citric acid there are plenty of brands way cheaper than this one.

I bought this to make energy drinks with.Interesting fact - it makes water taste like lemon juice. If you put this stuff, sugar, and water together, it seriously tastes exactly like store bought lemonade. This shouldn't be surprising since it is CITRIC acid after all, but I was just impressed with how citrus-y it was rather than just acid-y.I was like "sugar, water, and citric acid... this is like the most basic flavor ever, right? This will taste like nothing, right?". Wrong. It tastes like lemonade.When you start adding other flavors the lemonyness gets lost, but just know you can make a pretty mean clear lemonade with this stuff.

If you own a keurig and read the main ingredient in a descale solution. The solution is made up of citric acid. I dissolve approx. 3/4 tablespoon in warm water and run thru the Keurig. It works like a charm

This product is fine but I only had 1/4 of it left after the packaging ripped while it was in a box and mixed with all the other products and RUINED everything else in the box! UGH.
