This is helping my husband to regain his balance but is simple to use. I don’t need tons to space to store it, and we can use this even when his therapist isn’t here. The results are visible even to his adult children! Thank you!

I used one of these at PT for an ankle fracture. I had to get one to keep using at home once I was discharged as it keeps my ankle strong and flexible. Also great for other balance and strength training!

I used it for home exercise and it is well made and should last a long time

I use this pad in the gym all the time and love it.

I ordered a $20 foam pad from Amazon thinking that it would work the same as this one, which I had used at my PTs office. Just had total knee replacement on both knees, and I am able to get on my knees using the Airex, so figured that I would get one for the home. Purchased a much less expensive foam pad, and there is nothing really wrong with it...except it seemed to hurt my knees more than the Airex at my PTs office. I mean, they are both just foam...but the less expensive unit just hurt enough that I could not use it. It might be a tad stiffer, so I went and ordered this one and tried it immediately upon arrival, and sure enough, I was able to kneel on it. Side by side they are pretty close, but the Airex compresses further than the cheaper unit, and I guess that is what makes the difference.At this time, I am only using it for range of motion, as I am 6 weeks post op, but I was using it as 3 weeks. I have yet to use it for balance, as we are still focused on range of motion, so I use it to try and bend further into child's pose.Again, you get what you pay for in this case...Oh, and my PT says he has had his for 10 years now, and it is holding up great. And being a PT office, I am certain that it gets used a lot...

Physical therapy for fractured femur.

My physical therapist recommended this to put on chairs. It makes me sit higher so I can get in and out of chairs easier with my arthritic knees.

Does what it says, excellent for balance exercises!

Super high quality, doesn’t budge when I put my full weight. I mostly use this pad to cushion between clients and a barbell for hip thrusts. They love it, it has been extremely effective and made the exercise more comfortable. It would be great to see a product made with the same foam into a smaller pad for the neck and shoulders you can strap onto a barbell.

This is a great balance item for rehab/training use. This is the cheapest I have found Airex pads.

As advertised. I use it under direction of a physiotherapist. I bought two - one for home, one for the cottage.
