The NEEWER Teleprompter X17 II is honestly the perfect product for the dollar amount. It gives you that professional teleprompter setup without making you spend a crazy amount of money, and the best part is how easy it is to use. Setup is simple, the build feels solid, and it works great for recording videos, interviews, talking-head content, YouTube videos, courses, and social media work. It makes speaking on camera feel way more natural because you can stay locked in with the lens while reading your script smoothly. For the price, you’re getting a product that feels professional, saves time, and instantly makes your video workflow better. If you’re a content creator, videographer, business owner, or anyone who records on camera, the NEEWER Teleprompter X17 II is definitely worth it. Teleprompting Made Easy with the X17 II
As a professional content creator and SaaS company CEO, the Teleprompter X17 II has been a revelation for my social content workflow, and Zoom calls. This nifty device has taken my presentations and recordings to a whole new level. Setting it up was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and I had it ready to go in no time. It’s compatible with a wide range of devices, including my Sony A7SIII and iPhone, which makes it incredibly versatile for different shooting scenarios. The build quality is solid. The beamsplitter glass provides crystal-clear reflection, allowing me to read my scripts without any distortion or glare. The included remote is a nice touch, making it easy to control the scroll speed and navigate through my script without fumbling around. Performance-wise, it’s fantastic. The adjustable bracket and compatibility with various camera sizes mean I can switch between my different setups seamlessly. Whether I’m shooting a quick social media update or a longer, more polished piece, the Teleprompter X17 II ensures I stay on script and look professional. In terms of accessories, I highly recommend getting a Bluetooth page turner / foot pedal for controlling your iPad or tablet on there, as it's much easier than a remote. Overall, this teleprompter is a game-changer for anyone serious about content creation. It’s easy to use, well-built, and enhances the quality of my videos. If you’re looking to step up your presentation game, this teleprompter is a fantastic investment. Highly recommended!

Content Creators — Great Value
Build Quality: The unit feels sturdy for its price point — the beam-splitter glass is clear with minimal ghosting, and the hood does a good job blocking ambient glare so you can actually read your script outdoors or under bright studio lights. Setup: Assembly is straightforward, though I’d recommend watching a quick video first since the included instructions are a bit sparse. The mounting plate accommodates most DSLR/mirrorless cameras, and it attaches securely to a standard tripod. Versatility: The “2-in-1” design is the standout feature — it works with both a tablet (running a teleprompter app) and comes with its own control setup, which is handy if you’re switching between phone/tablet-based scripting and dedicated software. Performance: Text scrolls smoothly with no lag when paired with a good teleprompter app, and remote control functionality (if included in your bundle) makes solo filming much easier. Minor Gripes: The foam padding on the hood could be more durable, and cable management is a bit of an afterthought. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. Bottom Line: For solo creators, YouTubers, or small studios who need a reliable, portable teleprompter without spending $300+, this is a great value pick. Recommended.

5 Stars-The Neewer Teleprompter X14III is truly a game changer!
Our clients and content creators can finally read their scripts comfortably without struggling to see tiny text on those small, budget teleprompters. We added this unit to our gear lineup to complement our other 14" teleprompter, and it’s exceeded every expectation. The value is unbeatable, especially since it includes its own hard case. Setup couldn’t be easier: open the case, unfold, zip it into position, and you’re ready to roll. The build quality rivals and even surpasses some of our higher-priced models. The beam splitter glass is flawless—text appears crystal clear and sharp, with zero reflections during recording. It’s lightweight, portable, and perfect for both studio and on-location shoots. Having worked with teleprompters for decades, I can confidently say the Neewer X14III offers the best performance and value of any model we’ve owned. Highly recommended for professionals and creators alike!

Great Starter
This teleprompter works very well and has a quality build, with a few exceptions. Issues: • The darkbox has thin (thickness) zipper banding that allows light to pass through it. In some cases this allows light to come through the image if there are lights behind the prompter. It also feels like the zipper would be the first thing to break if you were to pack this up and move it around (a suggested use case given the included storage / transport box). • The display tray doesn't squeeze a display (it locks in place but doesn't apply pressure) so if this prompter were mobile (maybe on a shoulder rig or dolly) the display could slide out the side. This could be improved with some cushioning foam to grip the display. Features • The prompter has a mostly metal construction • The adjustable pull out display tray is fairly rigid and doesn't limit the horizontal display size (I'm using a ProArt [PA148].) • There are mounting shoes in the front and sides of the prompter which could hold lights or a microphone. • The camera height and distance is adjustable (fits my A7 IV with a Sigma 24-70.) • There are multiple locations for mounting a tripod plate to the bottom, which allows for balancing the prompter. Tip: If you want to use this as an external display (wired to a computer) you'll have a horizontally flipped video by default. To fix this, I used OBS Studio (which is free) to 'Window Capture' the content that should be on the prompter, flip it (Right click 'Source' > Transform > Flip Horizontal), and then project it (Right click 'Scene' > Fullscreen Projector (Scene) > select the prompter display).

Excellent Monitor – Crisp Display and Smooth Performance
I’ve been using this monitor daily for both work and entertainment, and the performance has been outstanding. The display is sharp with vivid colors and excellent brightness, making it great for photo/video editing as well as gaming. The refresh rate is smooth, and I haven’t noticed any screen tearing or lag. The design is sleek with thin bezels, which makes it ideal for multi-monitor setups. The stand is sturdy and offers good adjustment options for tilt and height, helping me set up an ergonomic workspace. Setup was simple — plug and play with HDMI/DisplayPort, and it worked perfectly right away. The on-screen controls are intuitive, and it’s easy to adjust settings like brightness, contrast, and color profiles. Overall, this monitor delivers professional-level quality at a great value. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable display for productivity, creative work, or entertainment.

Some really good features, Some not so good
I'm a bit conflicted on this product. I like that it's an all-in-one solution and other than a source to feed the included tablet, you're pretty much ready to go. Then again, man - if they would have just made the mounting system a little more sturdy I'd be tempted to give this a straight-up 5 stars. Pros: It's all inclusive and I confirmed this DOES work with my older "lightning" based phone paired with a lightning-to-HDMI (then adding HDMI to Mini adapter). The tablet is very bright, adjustable and will basically run anything you can throw at it via HDMI/USB C. The reflecting screen is nice and clear and the camera shroud works well being a soft cloth (rather than a stiff material my older one used). The Cons: The mounting is sketchy at best. The thin plastic has trouble supporting even my smaller G9 MKII with a smaller lens on it. It precariously wobbles back and forth at the lightest touch. If you have a larger camera and larger lens, I'd look for something more robust. Mini HDMI - it's like having Mini USB at this point; surely there's room enough in there to put a full size HDMI port. Having to adapt from HDMI to mini just adds extra strain hanging off the side fo that tablet. I'm sure this will, at some point, cause stress issues in that small port. Conclusion: If they upgraded this to metal mounting and replaced the mini-HDMI with full HDMI, this would be a full 5 star product.

Impressive all-inclusive kit
This Neewer 2 in 1 teleprompter kit is certainly more bulky than some of their other teleprompter options, such as the folding model, but it is pretty easy to assemble and is quite solid once set up. All the connection points are toolless and it features a good amount of adjustability when it comes to the camera placement, which is also made simpler with just a black cloth sleeve with a drawstring at the end. This generally speaking is still quite effective and saves the need to match lens filter sizes to block out incident light from the camera side. The construction of the plastic dome does feel a bit thin but I find it to be perfectly good. The velcro cover for cellphone use does feel daunting to pull open but it's actually solid enough. When it comes to the rest of the hardware, I find the adjustments to be pretty easy to do, in part because I find they are accessible. One highlight I have is that the quick release plate holder works so satisfyingly well. I'm a bit sad that it doesn't feature a 1/4" or 3/8" thread mount underneath it, so you cannot dismount it to use on a tripod. As for the monitor that comes with it, it also just clicks into the mount solidly. Super simple operation to mount or dismount it. This monitor doesn't have the highest resolution nor generally speaking is it that great of a screen quality-wise, but for the means of a teleprompter it works just fine with the high contrast, since it's meant for text first and foremost. This monitor can run and be powered entirely by USB-C, but it can also do HDMI, both of which cables are included. The screen automatically flips the image around so you don't have to use any apps to get it running, though you can if you want for scrolling texts. It does mean that if you wanted to use this screen as a sub-monitor in normal day to day use, without the teleprompter itself, it won't be as suitable. The teleprompter "screen" mirror itself works nicely as can be seen in the pictures; texts show up clearly. With the dark side of the teleprompter properly closed off the clarity is even better. Of course, the mirror is very reflective so it would be important to not have too much light sources that can reflect from it. So, despite the bulk and the lack of a carrying box or case, I still rate these very high because it is a true all-inclusive teleprompter kit that isn't dependent on attaching a cellphone or tablet to serve as your screen, instead you can have it elsewhere for better control but connected to the included monitor.

Great item
Does the job well, easy to use app that allows editing of text documents once loaded. The remote functions smoothly and is easier to use for scroll speed changes rather than the slider on the app.

Solid Teleprompter for Smooth Video Filming
The Neewer X14 II Teleprompter with RT113 Remote is a game-changer for anyone filming at home or in a studio. As a busy mom with three kids, I appreciate how easy it was to set up and use. The build quality is solid, with a stable base that fits my tripod perfectly, and the glass mirror works well for keeping eye contact with the camera while reading the script. The remote control is a nice touch—it's simple to adjust the speed and pause the text without interrupting the flow of filming. I did have a small hiccup with keeping my tablet secure, as it wasn't a perfect fit out of the box, but a bit of improvisation solved that issue. Other than that, the teleprompter really made filming my videos so much easier. If you’re looking for something that can help you keep your script in front of you while still engaging with your audience, this setup does the trick. Overall, it's a reliable and affordable option for creating smooth, professional-looking content at home.
