Good Quality
This CD is great, I have tried others in windows 11 and not had much success. It is connected through my laptop via USB C and does a good job - copied DVD's to memory cards and memory sticks. Runs with very little noise and is very smooth. It may cost a little more but in my opinion it is well worth it.

It does what it's meant to do, not much more.
I want to start by saying I've only used this drive with an M1 MacBook Air, I've not tried it on a PC or other OS.I bought it to rip my audio CD collection, and at first I had some issues with the discs not auto-mounting. I had to go into Disk Utility and manually mount the CD, then it worked fine. However after a reboot and a few hours use, it magically started working correctly, so I'm going to put that down to an issue with MacOS more than with this drive. It's something to keep in mind if you don't see your disc being mounted on the desktop though.Then build quality feels a little cheap, the drive is very light and a bit bulky thanks to the built-in USB hub. It seems like it's put together fine, it's just not a premium feeling device. Also, the hub and card reader on the back are quite slow, so not something I would use, except in an emergency.This drive has an attached cable with USB-C and USB-A connectors, which is quite convenient, especially if you just want to travel with it. No extra cables or power supplies required. However, the cable is only about 20cm at full stretch, which means it might not work well as a permanent part of a desktop setup, as it's going to have to sit right next to your computer.Those minor niggles aside, I had no other problems when using this. It read CDs, DVDs and CD-Rs just fine. I've not tried the Lightscribe functionality or writing disks yet, so I can't vouch for those features. Overall, it feels a little cheap, but it gets the job done and it's good value.

So much from a little box.
Does what it say's in the advert. Loads easily on to Windows 11 which has a Media Player. Once it is loaded it's a dream to operate, just like any other CD/DVD Player.

Does not work for burning music CDs to computer
The supporting manual is very poor. The print is too small. The translation from Chinese to English is confusing. All in all the manual does not adequately explain how the player can be used. Burning music CDs to my computer is desperately slow. To be fair this may be the computer's fault as I have this problem with another CD player. I have a 12 year old desktop with an integrated CD which is 10x faster.
