After ordering and returning several gold sets, this one arrived and it's perfect. The weight and engraved handles add to a feel of elegance. The soup spoons are large enough for serving spoons. I ordered a second set.

Spoons and socks have been successfully collaborating in a disappearing act around this household for 25 years! Bought these thinking they would be good back up silverwear for every day. Well, they are actually good enough to be regular everyday silverware, which is now what we use them for. So far, none has joined the spoon sock disappearing conspiracy, showing good character. And I am astonished at how inexpensive they are. Best deal I have ever enjoyed on amazon!

I love the engraved design (not just lazered on.) They are very sturdy. They are on the large side, but we're happy with them. Remind me of my mom's old flatware.
