I got this as a present for my mum and she's been really enjoying it

I have to say I'm a little disappointed no instructions so once again I have to revert to the order page to get the information how to use and how to grow the overall kit is quite comprehensive a nice tray the two stand brackets are easy to adjust easy to tighten simple term handles either side and then once you've made the stand rigid angle into position the two bottles jars are easy to install the lids go on very easy nice having a black installated cover to help exceed in and you also get two cleaning brushes which is really goodIf you use the instructions on the order page they are so easy to use simple and effective really love teaching my youngsters how to grow seeds very hands on easily see what's going on impressive ly be good price point these are two really good sized jars

This is a great activity to do with the family and youngsters can learn a lot from it. Disappointing that there are no instructions with this kit but the internet is abundant with them.It has everything apart from the seeds and water to work. Depending on the seed type, you may or may not want to use the black jar covers. Greens and grasses need the dark to start off with, although the neoprene covers can be fiddly to remove as it very tight.You can mix different seeds too, the process is still the same. As long as you rinse them regularly. After about 5 days once the water is drained, you should have a jar of sprouts ready to harvest. You may notice some feather/hair looking bits in the jar, this is normal and is part of the seed root system, it is not mould.Once finished with, the jars and lids can be easily cleaned and stored away for the next use.

All you need for a continuous supply of sprouted seeds.Only takes a few days for a handful of seeds to become a jar full of tasty sprouts. So easy to do too. Just fill, soak, drain then rinse daily in fresh water which is so easy with these jars, without even opening the lids.Kit includes two jars and metal gauze lids, two racks, a tray to catch any water and a brush for cleanung the jars. Everything you need apart from the seeds - which can be purchased easily online of in your garden centre or health food shop.Tip - dont put too many seeds in the jar - they expand hugely!Good product

These are decent size jars and are now growing sprouts as I write this. Glass is very thick and durable. Lids secure well. My only gripe is that stands do not fit tray properly and I find this super annoying. If tray was only 1 cm bigger they would fit in perfectly. Jars also came with sleeves that I am not sure what they are supposed to do.

These are standard mason jars for sprouting. They are supplied with a very solid plastic tray to sit on, two stands which work fine, a brush for cleaning, and two black neoprene blackout sleeves to aid sprouting. The strainer disk detaches from the lid for cleaning. It's all reasonable quality and as I would hope for, although the neoprene sleeves were an unexpected bonus that I appreciate, as you're supposed to keep the jars dark when sprouting seeds. I particularly like the metal lids and strainer, as this makes them easier to sterilize prior to use. After the kerfuffle with e-coli contaminated bean sprouts a few years ago, I much prefer to grow my own, and this makes it easy. Recommended!

Nice set. I was pleasantly surprised to find some jackets for the jars too, to keep them dark, which didn't show on the stock images. The jars are well made and the whole kit is pretty good. I was surprised that there were no instructions though... I have sprouted mung beans before so knew what to do, but it would reach a larger audience if instructions were included. There are some instructions on the selling page, so you'll be able to find what you want there. You can also google and find instructions. I like this jar way of doing the sprouting as it's a bit more organised than I was doing before. I have to say that I have seen the exact same kit for varying prices (mostly less than this £17.99 price) so you might wish to consider that in your purchase. Make sure and clean your jars very well between sproutings.

Leider war eins der beiden Gläser zerbrochen geliefert worden. Die Gläser waren nicht ausreichend geschützt und weder mit Schutzfolie noch Verpackungs-Chips verpackt.Trotzdem hat das Set an sich einen guten Eindruck gemacht.

Die Länge der Tropfschale 21.3 cm ist nicht genug um die Gläser nebeneinander platzieren zu können. Die Abschirmungen von Flasche fehlen auch. Die Rücksendung wurde von Verkäufer akzeptiert aber als ich mich dafür bedankt habe, hat er geantwortet: "unhöflich" ???

Ich wollte die Gläser reinigen und mit kochenden Wasser ausspülen, dabei ist es sofort gesprungen. Um sich Sprossen ohne Keime zu züchten ist Hygiene meiner Ansicht nach wichtig und dann sollten solche Gläser auch kochendes Wasser überstehen. Meine anderen Sprossgläser überleben kochendes Wasser problemlos.Da ich die Ware noch zurück schicken kann. Geht es heute Retoure.
