April, 2026 Update: As consistent with the other reports here, Viture contacted me and offered a full refund, which I declined, because they also offered to replace the original glasses. The original glasses (which worked fine without the adapter) or the original cable may have been the problem. With replacement glasses —replaced hassle-free by Viture— everything works properly. I’m extremely happy with how the company deals with [perceived] problems, and this experience guarantees that I’ll be a long-term customer. ________________ Ordered two of these from Amazon. Results, discussed in this review were identical. While connecting to a iPhone 16 Pro Max using the OEM Apple charger & cable, the adapter introduced a bunch of horizontal “noise” lines of varying thickness and occasional static pops in the speakers of the glasses before disconnecting after not more than 6 seconds each time. The problem was slightly mitigated (i.e., longer period of connectivity before the connection was dropped) using an aftermarket 30W or 50W charger. No difference when using different cables. Ultimately, this adapter renders the glasses useless. Finally, I tested on the latest generation of iPad Pro, and the problem was significantly reduced, but I observed random white dots throughout the screen. I have returned both adapters.

The short, flexible cable never tugs on the glasses, and I’ve had zero disconnections even while walking around or lying in bed. Compatibility is perfect – works straight out of the box with my iPhone 17 (and the listing confirms iPhone 16/15 regular models too). All the advanced features that Android users get with the neckband – SpaceWalker, full-screen mirroring, 180°/360° videos – are now available on my iPhone without workarounds. Best of all, it passes real power through. I can watch movies or game for hours and my phone actually charges at the same time. A recent 3-hour flight left me with more battery than when I started. Small, lightweight, and well-built. If you own VITURE XR glasses and a newer non-Pro iPhone, this adapter is essential to get the full experience. Very happy with how it performs!

The packaging and product both display a Bluetooth logo, yet neither the online documentation nor the included manual ever explain why. There is zero mention of what Bluetooth is used for, audio, control, or video feed management, leaving buyers completely in the dark. Functionally, this adapter is extremely unreliable. The pigtail strain relief is poorly designed, two cables pull on the smaller one, constantly loosening the connection. This results in one lens showing static while the other displays video, making the experience almost unusable. Head tracking and 3D rendering are choppy and inconsistent. One eye can drift to a different viewpoint or even show a separate menu page. Even after a firmware update, tracking remains unstable. What makes this even more disappointing is the hardware lock. You have to buy this adapter just to unlock proper head tracking and full 3D functionality. After paying so much for the Pro version, this feels like an unnecessary paywall for basic features that should already be included. For a $60 accessory, this feels unfinished and poorly engineered. The design flaw alone means it will likely fail even if it is not technically defective. This adapter needs a complete mechanical redesign and clear Bluetooth documentation before it deserves another look.

Got this VITURE USB-C XR adapter about 10 days ago to pair with my iPhone 16 pro max and Luma Ultra glasses, and I’m kicking myself for not buying it sooner. Connection has been 100% reliable—no random disconnects, no wobble, even when I’m on the couch flipping positions or walking to the kitchen. The short cable is flexible and stays out of the way. Compatibility is spot-on with my iPhone 16 pro max. Suddenly I have all the premium features people with Android or the neckband get: full SpaceWalker, proper 360° video support, and perfect side-by-side screens for work or gaming. The real hero is the passthrough charging—I streamed a 4-hour playlist yesterday and my phone went from 45% to 92% while the glasses were running. Zero heat, zero battery anxiety. Tiny dongle, massive difference. If you’re running VITURE glasses on a non-Pro iPhone, just get this. It makes the whole setup feel finished and professional. Couldn’t be happier!

Ultimately I returned the Viture XR Glasses because of extreme blur and eye fatigue. This device did work with my iPhone 16 pro max and enabled some of the added functionality with the SpaceWalker app. The reason I’m eating only 3 stars, is because I kept having connectivity issues with this device. I would get noise on the screen almost like the connection was bad and it would reoccur pretty frequently.

It does what it is advertised to do. Within the spacewalker app this adapter gives you a 'spatial visual' where you can move your head and what is on the screen stays in the same spot. Can be useful for certain scenarios but I wouldn't say it is a must have. If it was cheaper then it would be easier to recommend. It also allows you to charge your phone while you use the glasses but whenever I travel I find it easier to use a magsafe charger and not have a bunch of cables around me at a time.

Great adapter

Been using this XR adapter with my VITURE Luma Ultra for a few days and it’s been solid. It doesn’t unlock the full XR features like head tracking or 3D, but it does exactly what I needed—charging passthrough and video/audio output without any hiccups. I can watch and charge at the same time, which is clutch for long sessions. The ports are clearly labeled and the build feels premium despite being super compact. For Ultra users, it’s a reliable accessory that keeps things simple and functional. Definitely glad I added it to my setup.

The connector sits firm and will not budge, even when my five-year-old gives the cable an enthusiastic tug. Heat is kept well under control, and every 30 W charger I own has worked happily through the passthrough port. A quick nod as well to the leaflet in the box: it is clear, well laid out, and printed large enough for me to read without hunting for my glasses. Reliable performance, tidy design and the freedom to wander round the sitting room without a low-battery warning make this an effortless five-star product.
