I’m currently running a 6-meter ducting setup (3.5m intake and 2.5m exhaust) and even at just 60% power, the suction is phenomenal. The fan has enough static pressure to draw smoke from a soldering iron easily from 10cm away, even without a hood attached yet. It’s surprisingly quiet for its 190 CFM rating; I can talk over it comfortably while it’s running. The build quality feels solid, and it handles the resistance of long duct runs without stalling or struggling. If you are looking for a capable fan for a workshop or hobby setup where you need high suction without the jet-engine noise, this is the one. Pros: • Extremely quiet operation even at higher speeds. • Strong static pressure—pulls smoke from a distance. • Compact 4-inch size fits standard 100mm flexible ducting perfectly.

Good fan. i installed it on the top of a range hood, between the hood itself and a flexible duct. Quiet enough, noise level even lower than that of the native fans coming with the hood. Powerful. The range of speed controlling could be wider though. Nevertheless, the whole vent system i did works great.

This fan has been running 24/7 for 6 years with absolutely no issue and it's still as quiet as the first day. Must have excellent ball bearings in it!
