I've been in broadcast technology for many years, and have had my share of good and of cheap tools. The Xcelite line of tools is the best in my toolbox. Some years back I quit buying cheap tools, and I've never looked back. Some of my Xcelite tools are 50 years old and still work perfectly. I look for many years of good use from these Xcelie pliers!!

It would be very hard to imagine a tool better than this one, for its intended purpose. It’s very well made, comfortable to hold and just the right size for my needs.

smoothe, no grip

I'm been working with electronic circuits for more than 50 years and am accustomed to professional quality tools. With so many cheap tools on the market it's tempting to make a mistake, and I have. These cost a little more than the look-alike junk tools offered but are the real deal. They exhibit smooth and precise operation and look and feel like they will last a long time. I was a little worried about the acquisition of Xcelite by Weller, but it does not seem to have hurt the quality of these needle nose pliers. I recommend them. The price is fair.

Very comfortable in the hand. Along with the similar semi-flush cutters from Xcelite-Weller, my favorite tools for electronics.

Suggested by my cuckoo clock doc, these pliers are just right in every way for turning the small wires required for installing bellows and animation wires while making my cuckoo clocks. They are small but well-made and mighty. I'm ordering more!

Pretty poor quality. The "ESD safe" bit comes from some coating that appears to have been hastily and unevenly applied to the face of the jaws. The jaws do not close flush and on my pair only make contact at the very top. Spring is extremely creaky and feels like it will pop off at any second. Not recommended

These are well made and easy to grip for small electronic wire work.
