These worked great. Did exactly what I wanted them to do. Comfortable grips. So far so good. Cutter worked so far. Haven't used it to cut braid yet.

KastKing has done it again. I’ve purchased several of their products but this one is real handy to have.Especially if you’ve got bass, trout or catfish that swallowed hook.The design can retrieve hooks well.LOVE the handle design.Very ergonomic for use and the end has a nice area where you can add a leash.Which is what we did. Attached one of the rings with the bungee type cords and attached other end to our fishing belt so it didn’t accidentally fall off boat. I fish with kids so yeah stuff happens.Line cutter works well.Overall pliers appear very durable, I’m happy with my purchase, and I expect them to last like my other KastKing tools.But should something happen KastKing offers a really good warranty.

After a week of surf fishing the Outer Banks of NC, the pliers and grippers held up great. The angle on the pliers and the lip grippers made it easy to use. Being left handed the pliers adjustable holder is great to feature to have. The teeth of the pliers didn't slip once when removing hooks. Also the grips on the pliers and lip grippers didn't slip when our hands were wet or after handling fish and bait. The handle color made it easy to find them both quickly. My son used the pliers the last two days and he didn't want to give them back. Thanks Kastking for another great product.

These pliers are perfect, size, color and weight. First they have a hard molded sheath and lanyard that connect to the pliers. That is reversible for right or left hand. Plus the handles are a nice size for the hand, and bright kastking orange. So if they do fall into the water, they are easy to see. The pliers move smooth and are salt resistant. The jaws are a good size for hook removal and have a line clipper. They also have a good price point.

If you are looking for a quality pair of fishing pliers, these are very nice. They appear to be well-made and I'm looking forward to years of using them!

Excellent quality pliers that are very comfortable and easy to use for those with medium or larger size hands. I've never had angled pistol grips fishing pliers before, but finally decided to try these. The angle is very helpful for a better view when removing more deeply set hooks. Nice size for saltwater fishing or medium/large freshwater fish (fantastic for catfish and snakehead), though too large for panfish. One drawback is that the open pliers can catch on things - would prefer if they had some type of simple latch to hold the jaws closed when not in use.

I have a couple of other pliers that are all aluminum, including a decent KastKing pair but I've noticed that aluminum weakens after a year or two of outdoor use and the tips tend to break off. This new set from KastKing is strong, solid stainless and I have a lot more faith that they'll hold up over time. Equally nice is the ergonomics of the pliers. I like pliers with the spring that keeps the jaws open until you close them but I have smaller hands and sometimes the spread between the handles is a bit of a stretch. This pair springs open just enough, and the ergonomic angle of the tips makes it a lot easier to get at the hooks when an ornery fish takes one deeper in his mouth. Tried them out yesterday and loved them!

I am an avid saltwater fisherman and have gone through numerous fishing pliers. I constantly have to keep oiling them as the saltwater corrodes them even though they are made for saltwater use. I recently saw these KastKing pliers on Amazon and bought them. I am really impressed by the quality, they are made of 410 sst and have a corrosion resistant plating. I also love that they are angled which makes it easier to see a hook in the fishes mouth as you hand is not in the way. I have bought a number of KastKing products and have never been disappointed.
