This product is great. I work wonderfully on some dried out wood I had that I want to do some woodcarving on.

It turns the wood darker than expected after it dries.

Easy to apply. Soaked the stumps well. So far, so good regarding the wood drying out. They've been outside since I completed the project and I plan to leave them outside during the winter months. I must add that winters are mild... They look great to me!!

God but made the wood much darker

I applied several coats over a few days while leaving it in plastic so it could soak. I did not let it dry for months as I didn't realize that is what I had to do. So after only a few days I started to apply the ARM-R-SEAL clear coast. Went on fine and over the next 2 weeks I applied thin coats of the clear coat which looks great but the wood keeps making new deep splits. The stump is at least 8 inches thick and 2 foot around so I assumed it would be fine. I still think it will hold up for a long time but the new splits are very noticeable. They open up and then show wood that has not clearcoat. Kind of aggravating. I will definitely use a different product in the future. Plus it seems kind of expensive for not really working perfectly.

Great product, I purchased this to treat the wood stumps I made from a Tree that Fell in my yard. Great Product, The company was very quick to ship and when It worked exactly as specified. I needed a LOT more and ended up purchasing a GALLON later because I had 5 large stumps to treat.

This product works great. We used it on some wood frames and carved bears.

not enough information about this product, anywhere. I found out, after the fact, that it takes 4 months for this product to cure. there are much better options out there, for those of you who don't want to wait months to complete a project.
