Northriver CastingCast Iron Braiser Pan With Skilled Lid

I got by this for my son and he loves it. He uses it for casseroles in the oven and on his smoker. He also uses the lid as a griddle. Came very well seasoned.

I love grilling my food on the pellet grill in these cast iron pans. All the juice of my meats stay in the pan with the meat so I get very tender and juicy meat. The grill is really easy to clean after grilling my food in the cask iron pans. I use the lid as a separate pan. The cask iron cooks my food evenly and all at the same temperature. When I clean / wash the cask iron pans, I brush some olive oil on the entire cask iron set and I set mines inside my stove or inside the cold grill as storage. I would recommend cask iron if you pellet grill. When my meat is done, I just lift the entire pan off the grill and go to the kitchen.

This works great for making 2 loaves of French bread. Main reason for purchasing this dutch oven was the price but it works just as good as the high dollar Challenger bread pan.

I gave this item as a birthday gift last week. So no data on how well it handles the baking my daughter plans to do with it. I do like the 2-in-1 aspect and can't wait to see what she makes with this bakeware!

It’s heavy but the heat distribution is fabulous. It baks well and the clean up is a breeze. I won’t cook with anything but m cast iron.
