This set is perfect for a classroom activity before the Christmas break. These would also make great stocking stuffers for kids and adults who love to draw and color, using their artistic talents to create fun pieces of art. The paper is the right thickness and is enough to be durable and yet very lightweight. The markers seem to have enough ink in them, so they could last for a little while depending on how often they are used. I have several nieces and nephews that are artistic, so this set is just perfect.

I bought these for my classroom. The students loved them because they could choose either side of the ornament- one to scratch and one to color. The ribbons were a great add-on too.

So much is packed in to this. You really get your $ worth. So many cute ornaments to make your own way. It's fun to get creative and know you still have others to make different designs on.I remember this type of scratch paper back when I was a kiddo in the 80's. Loved it then and still unashamedly enjoy now.One side you can use the acrylic markers and the other is the rainbow color scratch surface. I was impressed by the markers. I expected just the usual cheap, dry markers that barely work. These are actually good!There are many ribbons of different colors to use, as well as a plethora of wooden scratch sticks. The brush is really useful to sweep away the remnants.My son and I have had a lot of fun making ornaments for the tree and to hang around the house. We even involved glitter (not included) which I partially regret as it becomes a real pickle of a mess. But at least Rudolph's nose sparkles!Overall amazing value and hours of fun. I use this with my son, but I imagine this would be wonderful for a group of kids. Like a class, Sunday school, party or a large family. This would definitely keep them entertained while also having something neat to keep for many Christmases to come. I know for sure I'll treasure my son's cute and very original ornament designs!

Only reason I didnt go to 5, which is likely deserves, is that the listing kinda makes it seem like these could be giveaways. But they are not individually packaged -- and the package itself is nothing all that amazing. Anyways, maybe I wanted them to be set up that way to suit my needs. Regardless cute affordable fun crafts set.

My daughter loves the scratchy paper so ordered these for the holiday season. I also shared some with her 1st grade classroom during a Christmas party and it was a hit! Not only is it a scratchy paper, but paintable on the other side, so much fun and a double win! The actual ornament is thick and durable. It is convenient that it comes with the entire kit…markers, ribbon to hang, and the wooden sticks to scratch! This was the perfect activity for self-directed entertainment. Participants created projects with minimal supervision and each result was unique. Younger kids needed to be watched with the tool, but were able to talk and visit with each other while working.
