Happy with it
I am absolutely happy with the pics it makes. It works much faster than any android I had and very easy to use. Love it!

Happy with it.
It's a nice phone, at what I'd consider a reasonable enough price. It's good-looking, feels solid in the hand, and comes in an interesting colour "Lime Gold" that I hope Sony continue to use. Here are some things that I find interesting about the Xperia XA. Some good, some bad.- The speaker grille is solid and out of the way. I detest fabric speaker covers, particularly when they're in the top-centre of the handset - I always manage to get dust or dirt into it, and eventually compressed air doesn't cut it. Use a solid grille, and it's easy enough to give a gentle brush with a toothbrush. It stays looking brand-new.- They didn't stick the notification LED in the speaker hole. If you haven't seen it, the Xperia X has it's notification LED there. Useful for cases, but it looks a bit weird and I can't say I like it all that much.- The screen isn't very good. Actually, it's bad. Resolution aside, sat next to the Xperia X it looks dull and dim. And the Xperia X didn't look great next to an OLED screen to begin with. I'm not sure why it's so bad, but it's a real letdown.- It's a Mediatek, so you need a Mediatek Pump Express Plus compatible charger. Of which on Amazon UK there are bugger-all. Sony have one, the UCH12. But it's out of stock everywhere, and every place that does sell it does so with an EU plug. I have yet to see a UK charger with Fast Pump support. But don't get too down about it. My Anker charger seems to do a remarkably good job [1] - in the time I took to write this review, it's went from 37% to 69%. Mind you, it's not a formal test.- It's a Mediatek. Don't expect too many Android updates. They're particularly notorious for not releasing the source code for their SoCs - not even to companies they partner with.- Battery life isn't too great. It's 2300mAh. You'll be wanting a battery pack if you're planning on playing Pokemon Go. Then again, that monster of a game can bring any phone to its knees.- Back on the screen - the glass this time. It's not Gorilla Glass. It's not even Monkey Mineral. Let alone Primate Perspex. It's completely unbranded - so there's no telling how resistant it is to scratches. A particular pain with the growing popularity of curves screens, that aren't well suited to screen protectors.- Now that I'm done, it's charged up to 81%. Pretty happy about that. All I can take away is fast charging isn't all the necessary to me. Or Anker have accidentally made their charger compatible with Pump Express Plus.[1] Quick Charge 3.0, Anker 18W USB Wall Charger PowerPort+ 1 with Quick Charge 3.0 Technology for Galaxy S6/Edge/Plus, Note 4/5, LG G4, HTC One A9/M9, Nexus 6, iPhone, iPad and More

easy to use smartphone
i do not like my previous smart phones, but i get on well (so far) with this one. mixed with a sim only deal for £10 of 4mg 4g and high calls texts makes it good value.

Great looking phone for the price but battery life AWFUL.
I bought this phone as I have always had Sony phones and been generally impressed with them. I also do not wish to spend hundred of pounds on a phone, and this one seemed good for the price. It is a very good looking and feeling phone, and worked very well, impressive screen and fast moving through apps. However I did notice some lagging after only maybe a week of having the phone. The battery is also shockingly terrible. I fully charge my phone over night, and do not really use it apart from in my lunch hour and a bit after work. It never lasted the full day, and would often die just after I finished work, having only been used during my lunch hour.I then dropped this phone on a table. It had a hard case cover on it, yet the phones screen still smashed rendering the phone completely useless and I had to claim from my phone insurance. I have been considering buying the same phone again, to replace my broken one, but I don't think I will re-buy this phone due to how poor the battery is.

Don't bother!
Well considering I have not received my delivery for no reason at all! I'm going to say absolute rubbish! I had to put one star or I could not put my review up!

Woeful battery life
Feels quite cheap and nasty - which isn't surprising as it is cheap - but everything works OK. Camera takes decent pictures but the main problem is the battery life - just doing nothing (literally actually not using the phone) it only lasts 9 hours. If you start using it for browsing or calling etc, expect to get less than 5 hours. Makes this phone unusable.

Nice gold texture with a nice pocket sized phone.
The phone has a nice gold texture to it, it seems like a good phone when I've used it. I've used it for quite a while and only sold it when I traded for a more modern phone but it has been a really great phone for the time I had it. Excellent build quality and screen is nice and bright with nice textures. Memory is a tad to small though but can't have everything luckily it has a small sd slot located in the phone. So you can expand memory.
