Meidase P100P WLAN

I purchased two of these cameras in April 2024 in order to capture high resolution images and video of the wildlife that visited our garden. In part they were also to establish which animals were responsible for feasting on our plant life! The functionality and imagery from these cameras is very good especially for the price point. They also provide in my opinion very good audio quality and I have not been disappointed. The motion sensors are also very responsive, easily reacting to mice from over 6ft away. A couple of weeks ago I was having issues with ‘fogging’ in the lens of one of the cameras which unfortunately completely ruined any captured video/photos. I reached out to Meidase customer support with details of the problem along with screenshots of the recordings and photos of the camera lens itself. Meidase customer support was first class, responding very quickly and sending me a replacement camera within a few days, no quibble at all. Also, they did not just send a replacement camera ‘body’ so to speak but a whole new retail package which includes the battery, straps, charging cable etc. Absolutely top drawer service which is not always something we see, especially for an item that is not exactly cheap. Still very happy with the cameras and very pleased with Meidase for sorting out a replacement camera so quickly.

The camera quality is acceptable but best of all it doesn't use the awful Game Camera Pro 2 software so many other cameras do, the Meidase software is pretty good and easy to use, it connects with one tap with no need to choose a specific hotspot and disable mobile data like I had to with Game Camera Pro 2. With this software I just select the camera from a list of other Meidase cameras I have and it just connects, no hoops to jump through. The camera itself has a tendency to only capture when the trigger is in the middle of the screen which is sometimes too late but that's common. The main annoyance is that like so many others, it has a fixed recording interval, you can set how long a recording is to last but it will end the recording even if the wildlife is still moving in the camera unlike some of the Browning cameras I used. The mobile software though is the stand-out element for me, I check cameras in my garden every day so the mobile software makes a big difference.

The item is exactly what I wanted, it ticked all the boxes for what I was looking for. I had an issue after using it for around 6 months (only use it in the spring and summer) and I sent an email, not expecting such an amazing response, they replied straight away and they rectified the issue after working out the problem. The camera itself is very easy to set up and work, the videos it captures is great considering it’s night time when used. I would highly recommend the camera and the sellers!

Unfortunately this camera doesn’t last longer than 6 months! I contacted the company when the first one stopped working after 4 months and they replaced it with another, unfortunately the second one is now broken. No night vision on it what so ever, I’ve used brand new batteries, I’ve used fully charged rechargeable batteries but no nothing works so save your money!

I originally bought a single trail camera. I found a. the battery lasted well (over 5 months and still going) before it needs recharging. b. the ability to view the results remotely very useful c. the ability to reformat the SD card and alter the camera settings remotely also useful. You can keep the camera setup insitu and yet see results. I have eventually finished up with 4 cameras. The ones in the garden and around the pond can be viewed from the house, you can see the view from the camera in real time from your armchair. One camera developed a fault which the supplier rectified without a quibble. I would highly recommend these cameras.

Works well, good quality and practical. Only downside is removing battery to charge means you have to go to settings to re-set date+time.

Love the rechargeable battery life. The best part is that you can communicate wirelessly using an app which allows you to change the the settings and view photos and videos on your phone and delete them. So much better than previous cameras where you have to open the back to view information on a small screen and navigate the settings using fiddly buttons. Love it!

Die Qualität der Fotos und Videos ist sehr gut. Die anspruchsvollen Nachtaufnahmen mit unsichtbaren "Now Glow" LEDs sind sehr scharf und die besten, die ich bisher gesehen habe. Die Tonaufnahmen über das empfindliche Mikrofon (Öffnung nach außen) waren bei relativer Stille durch Störgeräusche nicht zufriedenstellend. Der mehrfache konstruktive Kontakt zum Meidase-Team war hervorragend. Nach Zusendung einer neuen Kamera, die eine bessere Tonaufnahme aufweist, bin ich mit der Kamera sehr zufrieden. Die Meidase 100P hat ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (reduziert: 69,99Euro) und gehört für mich zu den besten Wildkameras mit unsichtbaren LEDs und guter Tonwiedergabe.

È la mia prima fototrappola e devo dire che sono davvero molto soddisfatto. Solida, semplice da utilizzare. L'app funziona benissimo con il mio samsung, qualche difficoltà di collegamento con lo xiaomi di mio figlio. I video sono nitidi. Comodo il fatto che di può vedere dal cellulare l'area di ripresa mentre si appende in modo da ottimizzare l'inquadratura. In un paio di notti ho ripreso capriolo, faina, volpe, scoiattolo e un rapace. Si possono impostare orari di funzionamento, durata dei video, tempi di attivazione alla rilevazione di movimento, foto e tanto altro. Lasciata anche sotto la pioggia senza alcun problema.

Trés bonne caméra. Filme en MP3, facile à lire et de bonne qualité. Durée des piles trés longue, plus de 7 semaines en veille permanente avec plus de 50 vidéos de 30 secondes et encore 30 % de charge des piles. Application facile à utiliser avec Bluetooth et WIFI. Je recommande.

J'ai commandé cet article au mois de novembre dernier. Livré très rapidement. Je l'ai mis en route sans problème, même si le mode d'emploi n'était pas en français dans l'emballage, car le site permettait de l'obtenir. Si l'on suit bien toutes les consignes la caméra donne de très bonnes photos et vidéos. Malgré tout un problème est survenu au cours du mois d'avril les images nocturnes présentant une ligne flottante de points blancs. Ayant demandé l'explication auprès du vendeur, celui-ci a répondu dans la foulée que le problème était couvert par la garantie et trois jours plus tard j'ai reçu une nouvelle caméra qui fonctionne très bien. Le service après-vente de Meidase est très réactif et donne des conseils utiles. Merci à lui qui mérite les 5 étoiles. Quatre étoiles pour la première caméra certes, j'espère cinq pour la nouvelle.

I have 3 of these Meidase cameras now 2 P60 and 1 P70. One is on it's 3rd year. One is on 2nd year and the P70 Just bought. I don't know what the difference is between the P60 and P70. They both seem to have the same features. The manual is easy to understand. You have to reset the calendar and time after changing batteries which is inconvenient. All other setting are retained. Picture quality is good even at lowest setting. Battery life is good with pictures. video tends to shorten it some. IR and video can pull the batteries down faster than pictures. Wind is a problem especially at night with video this can drain batteries. That's not the camera's fault. I am currently using all three cameras on pictures 24 hours, even with wind and IR flash I am going on 3 weeks with same batteries. With the wind where they are set I am averaging 1000 hits per 24 hrs. I can't really complain about battery life. Overall they have been good cameras and well worth the price.
