Nautica Women's Peacoat Wool Blend Double Breasted Winter Coat

I normally wouldn’t buy a coat online but after looking in all major department stores, I could not find this style of coat so I decided to order on Amazon and I can tell you…. It’s absolutely beautiful!!! It comes with a detachable hood, which is good for me as I never liked hoods. It’s the perfect fit and length and just the right amount of warmth. You could dress this coat up or you could wear a nice pair of jeans. Either way, you got a beautiful coat for a great price! Would definitely recommend this purchase.

I love how it fits! The color of military green is almost black. Big pockets functional buttons and detachable hood I ordered medium and I’m 5’3” and around 140 pounds. It’s actually roomy so I probably could have gotten a small but I like my jackets larger so I can wear sweaters underneath it’s very soft and comfortable and feels like it’s going to be warm but it’s still warm outside so I don’t know yet

This is a beautiful coat and seems to be well made. The pockets are deep and it has an inside pocket as well. The material is very nice and it has a satin lining. For cool weather down to maybe 50, it's ideal. Maybe low 40's with a thick sweater under it. If you're looking for anything warmer than that, this is not a coat for cold weather. As soon as the wind hits it, it passes right through and you feel the cold. I wanted a heavier coat for colder weather but since this coat is indeed very nice, I'm keeping it for the cool spring and autumn weather.

This coat is nicely tailored, fits perfectly and is very figure flattering. I am 5'2, 125 lbs and I purchased a small. If you are large in bust you may want to order up a size for better movement in the arms when the coat is buttoned. I purchased the Charcoal color and it goes with everything. The material is heavy wool, but is smooth and not itchy. I have worn this coat in temps of 20-50 degrees, also in light snow, rain, and sleet and it kept me comfortable and dry. I like the length because it keeps wind and rain off of my hips and thighs. The hood is a tad large but I have not had any issues with it falling off or blowing off. I like that it is big enough to keep rain off of my face.I especially like that it can be dressed up or worn casual. The hood is easily removed and adding a coat scarf under the lapels or a fashion scarf makes it look dressy. It has become my "go-to" winter coat.

Ok, so here are some tips for buying this coat. I am 5'8", 140 lbs, size 10-12, and wear medium tops but with coats I always size up to a large because we all wear layers in the winter. After reading all the reviews on this coat I decided to order the XL size as it appears this coat runs small. I have to say it fits great! I always get a large size because if I don't then the coat is tight across my shoulders. This coat, in XL, fits perfectly across my shoulders and I can move my arms freely in all directions without restriction. The length of the coat is great (about mid to lower thigh). The sleeves hit near my knuckles but I like a coat with long sleeves as they tend to pull back some when you move your arms (basically it keeps your wrists covered which is good on a cold day). I will say because it is an XL, it is rather large and loose across the waist and hip area but again, you're going to be wearing layers under it. All in all I am very happy with this coat as I have been searching for the right hooded peacoat for years.The one downside to this coat was that it appeared to not have pockets when I got it. Upon closer inspection it seemed the pockets were sewn shut. Weird! I had to remove the stitches myself but there are decent sized pockets and I didn't do any damage to the coat. Just be careful if this happens to you when you get the coat.

Had my heart set on a new wool coat for Christmas. Waited ALL November and December to get the navy coat but was told it was out of stock. As luck had it, I scored one through Amazon Warehouse 2 days after Christmas for $63+! Seriously disappointed to find the coat is 100% polyester when advertised as "52% Wool, 40% Polyester, 8% Other Fibers". Coat fits beautifully, is super-flattering, and the stretchy material is very lightweight. Trim and stitching is finished nicely too but for $63, it's a keeper FOR LOOKS ONLY. I would DEFINITELY NOT pay more since it IS NOT WOOL and won't be warm enough for real winter weather. Contacted Amazon who said they'd report "false claim" in ad.

This coat is great quality and looks gorgeous on. I love it.
