Very Cool
I purchased this as a decoration for my table. The only downside I can think of is that it requires either direct sunlight or to be very close to the window on the sunny side of the house.... regular daylight is not enough. This is somewhat limiting your options of were you can put this item for it to be operational....But if your table is near the sunny window then there is no problem - the item can be used as a nice decoration - the rotation speed matches the speed of real turbines and it goes on and on....

Made for grownups
It was cool but didn’t hold up to my 6 year old. He had it broke day one. However he is in the autism spectrum so he doesn’t always understand “gentle” just yet. One day! It was great while it lasted he was so happy. He loves turbines!!

Fun toy for kids and adults!
Easy to assemble. My husband loved it for his desk. Works best under sunlight light.

Good...
Good mini replica windmill. Only down side is it has to be in direct sunlight to work.

ok
I bought one for an autistic child who is fascinated with anything that rotates and am very happy with it as it gives him so much joy. However I am deducting two stars because this is in no way an educational toy, but a desk ornament/trinket. Advertising it as an educational item is at best misleading.

Really cool!
My brother and boyfriend work on wind turbines so we bought It to show my kids. They love it and love being able to see what the men in their lives work on daily!

Cute, but poorly made
I saw that this item had mixed reviews and decided to go for it anyway because my son REALLY wanted it. It was very easy to put together and it worked fine for the first couple of days. After about four days it didn't spin very well anymore and after about ten days it stopped working all together. I suppose it may be okay if you have it untouched on a shelf or something, but it does not do well with being touched and or handled. The assembly inside dissembles too easily and the panel requires very direct light to function continuously. Not buying again and I don't recommend you do either.

Realistic looking replica and fun to watch
This is a really neat item and my son has loved having it. Nice that is has an on/off button and it works from electric light or sun power. There is no battery to store power, so it doesn’t work if there isn’t some direct light shining on it, but the one we have works great.
