U7258 Wobble Board, Core Balance Board, Strength Balance Trainer Disc - Black

I'm 68 years old and wanted something to improve my balance. This was difficult to start with but after a few goes I got the hang of it and now go on it every day. I have seen an improvement in my balance especially when on one leg putting on shoes.I'd certainly recommend this item.

I was shockingly surprised about this when it arrived, the dome underneath the plate actually has much more depth to it than I first thought, so it's actually pretty hard too balance on.It's made of solid plastic all round so easy to clean and not too thick overall so easy too store away too.Very good for exercising the legs and core.

This is a moulded plastic single piece board, so the top is hard plastic and the rounded base also.This means its a little hard/uncomfortable in bare feet. It would be nice if it had a rubber top and base. However, For the price at this time of £8 it is good value as a basic wobble board. Pefect for occassional users.The top has a moulded pattern of circles, to provide grip, but they make it more uncomfortable in bare feet or thin shoes./socks. A different pattern or texture moulded in that is more like 'sandpaper' would be more comfy and grippier. You really need to wear shoes with it.The one piece solid plastic construction means that it is very solid. No flex I could detect (76kg).It is 6cm approx platform height, so has a medium level of possible roll, and as such it would be ideal as a good beginer to intermediate level.Those more advance might want something higher.The hard plastic base might also mark floors if they are delicate - it even come with a leaflet warning to use it with a floor protector or mat.Overall pleased - when used with shoes.

Really happy with this balance board, it's sturdy and well made and easily picked up and carried to where it's used. After a few wobbles at first, I got the hang of it soon enough, you can feel it working on your legs and my balance has definitely improved and I actually enjoy using it.

I saw balancing board used by a colleague at work who likes standing at his desk (we have few fixed height ones).I tried and it was a nightmare but then this one came up and decided to give it a go.I used it when washing dishes (as don't move much and my back pain comes straight away). I used it when doing other things around the house standing and in one place.The board itself is very light, made of plastic but the plastic is sturdy. It balances well but I'm still in the learning phase - not feeling as sure on the board as I thought I'd be.I like it and must say, on top of exercise and back brace, it is a little bit of fun, too.I found that for a newbie like me standing on the blue circle with both feet allows me simply to exercise without the risk of falling off. When standing more on the edges, it is tad more difficult to balance.

When this arrived, I was surprised at the size and quality. I was expecting something a little larger with more soft parts, this is quite small and feels cheap.However, it works for its intended purpose if used correctly. It helps to be on a surface with some grip rather than a slippery floor.It is advisable to wear some shoes as it can be a little hard for bare feet due to the lack of soft materials.The board can be integrated into an exercise routine easily, I found using it whilst doing dumbbell exercise beneficial as it is working multiple muscle areas.

I was a but underwhelmed when this arrived but after using it I’m converted! I’ve just had 20mins of ‘wobbling’ whilst tucking my core in and watching TV and I can definitely feel the effects. This will certainly be a regular part of my fitness regime going forward.The board itself is just moulded plastic but it’s very sturdy. I’m nearly 20 stones in weight (and gradually getting lighter) and was worried whether I’d simply break the thing, but it didn’t even flex. My size 12s fit on it comfortably too.It’s easy to use and once I got the knack of it I could pretty much switch off and watch the telly.It takes up no space at all and can be slotted away, pushed under a sofa or even hung on the wall when not in use, because it’s very light. Great acquisition to my home gym.

Rien à redire sur la forme, la finition, les matériaux; je ne peux pas comparer avec d'autres produits, mais cette wobble board remplit bien son rôle (au moins pour une personne de 54 kg).
