Nothing but love
The leather wrap is a very aesthetically pleasing hand wrap. I've been using the stock grips for a while and it became very faded, I thought about buying new grips however I came across their Instagram page (check them out) and immediately knew I had to have them, amongst other things I want that they sell (like their helmet hanger... I encourage to check that out as well... I really want it, that'll be my next purchase from them). The price of only 25 dollars is amazing as well so its a win win. The installation is very simple, just peal the adhesive tape and wrap. I've only had it for a 2 days and already it has a very nice subtle patina to it. I did have the smallest trouble with the finishing end of the wrap becuase it didn't want to stick properly, and wanted to peal back off, so I ended up putting a zip-tie to hold it down, just in case (not noticeable at all... and still looks great). They are a little slick with gloves on but I'm sure that once it's weathered-in that they'll have a little more friction to it for better grip. The logo branded on the leather adds a very nice rustic look to it as well. It's perfect for my style. They even come in a pretty cool little box, I'll end up using for small things like change, I like it.

Great look and feel, Quality product
The leather is very nice. Great appearance to it, and Iโm certain it is going to age well and look better as it does. Already looks great though! The leather seems to have a thicker center, and tapers to thinner edges. Which makes it easy to wrap and like up as you choose. The 3M tape that is used seems to work great for positioning and re-positioning the main wrap, but I had issues with it not wanting to stick on the ends and used a different similar type of tape to hold the ends. If need be, down the road, I will simply glue the ends to hold them. I donโt hold this against Trip Machine though. Sealing the ends on something like this isnโt always easy. And maybe use and warmth of the sun will help that glue make a better bond as well. I just finished the install and have a long day ahead before I get to ride home, so time will tell how they hold up and if I installed them correctly. I love the hand-made quality of the product, and have been eyeing it for a while now. So happy I took the plunge and made the purchase finally. $25 may not seem like a lot of money to most, but when you have mouths to feed first, you hold off on the frivolous purchases. To have that purchase show up in a neat little case, with a bonus sticker inside, and to have the product meet all your expectations and not disappoint...that feels good. My hat off to Trip Machine for their dedication to their product and customers.

Great Product. Could use a little tweak on the adhesion
I am really happy with the wrap. the Leather quality is great, it went on easily, the packaging was fantastic and classy, and the instructional video was easy to follow. Comfort and tactile feel, as well as looks, is great! The only constructive criticism I would like to point out, is the attachment of the loose end. The instructional video shows taking the little extra 3M strip and placing it across the trimmed wrap at the end, but I noticed that it shows to put the strip right over the existing 3M adhesive strip already on the wrap. this creates a "lump" on the end that is noticeable to your fingers, and causes it to not stick well and peel back. the proper way is to trim back the adhesion strip on the wrap before applying the end adhesive strip (if that makes sense). This way it lays flat and allows maximum adhesion. Also, i would suggest you instruct users to wipe their existing grip down with alcohol to be sure there is no greasy residue preventing the adhesive from sticking properly....just things I have learned in the past. And perhaps you could print the link to the install video on the card in the box? Great Product at a great price! keep up the good work!

Nice and great quality - but...
I got the perforated brown version for my Royal Enfield Classic 500, already have the small tank bag from TripMachine and love it! Positive: the leather band itself is great quality and more than long enough. If you take your time practicing a bit before really mounting it, it really looks great. To be improved: the included super glue was dried up. Useless. Probably sat on the shelf for a long time... And, at that price tag, I would appreciate a more reliable solution for the ends that tend to come off, even with super glue applied - e.g. cable-binder-style endpieces or similar.

Excellent grips
I've purchased a few of Trip Machine products (tool roll, roll top backpack) and they're all top quality, handmade by craftsmen who embrace the riding lifestyle and get it. These leather grips are in the same category - high quality, cool retro look, fair price. I installed these on my Triumph Bonneville T120 and they look and feel great. I wanted a little color accent and leather feel and they fit the part. One thing that I wasn't expecting - they make the bike feel more stable, handle better. What I mean is that the diameter of the grip is now slightly larger and it makes the ride feel more stable, smoother. It's a little hard to put into words, similar to how different diameter steering wheels on a car make it feel different. Anyway I really like it and my grip heater elements still penetrate through (it just takes a little longer to warm up). Trip Machine makes such quality stuff that I'm always looking for something else to add to my retro-style bike. Ride safe my friends.

Instructions?
The material seems like it's a good quality and I like the way the tanning looks. My biggest issue is the instructions, mostly the LACK of them. I realize that it shouldn't take a rocket scientist (and doesn't) to wrap handle bars with strips of leather, but I'm sure Trip Machine Co. has learned plenty of tips & tricks that could (and should) be passed along to those of us who have not done this dozens of times or more: -- Which direction should I start? -- Do both sides wrap in the same direction? -- What, exactly is the super glue for and how should it be used? I shouldn't have to search YouTube to find out how to most effectively install these wraps. I am not completely thrilled at how the wraps turned out, so I may end up getting another set and try a few things different; I am just not sure I will get them from Trip Machine Co.

Trip Machine Grip Wraps
I installed the Trip Machine Vintage Tan grip wraps on an Int 650 and a Continental GT 650. On the first installation (Int 650), I noticed that the double-sided tape tended to cause gaps and "puffiness." That's why I gave a "4" on the adhesion rating. So, on the second installation (Cont GT 650) I painstakingly removed the tape (I used my thumbnail) and left about 3 inches on the tip for securing the end. I found that the wraps installed more easily, lay flatter, and don't have gaps. I used the provided super glue to secure the ends on both installs. I prefer the "tapeless" method, but it requires scraping off the tape, which takes time. Overall, I really like the Trip Machine Vintage Tan wraps; they complement both bikes well and are really comfortable, especially when you use leather gloves. They are really smooth to grip without gloves but that's not an issue for me as I almost always ride with deerskin gloves. As to the tape, for the time being I will leave the tape on the Int 650, although at some point I might remove it and do a rewrap.
