Superior to all others I've tried
This tattoo skin is the most like human out of all the brands I've tried- it takes ink realistically and has held up through me transporting it without a protective case unlike the.other skins I have. The cups are what you'd expect; nothing special but a nice bonus. Uv ink works especially well on here.

Great combo pack
Ok, I love combo pack. More bang for my buck. This is a great way to test new products or brands -by trying multiple products.Fake skin for any skill level (apprentice to professional) and ink caps- which are ALWAYS in need. You can't go wrong for this pack.

Large kit for practicing
I am just learning and definitely not brave enough to learn on my own, or anyone else's, actual skin. Practice skins are perfect for learning the art and allows you to learn the old fashioned way - by doing.Color penetrates well and holds cleanly so you can see the effect of your needle depth, style, angle as well as demo new colors easily.Good kit for the price and come with a lot of value for a newbie.

A good kit for both beginners and intermediate tattoo artists.
This is a nice pack that I think leans more towards newer artists but is suitable even for experienced shop owners. The components are good quality. I was also happy with the practice material. If you’re a veteran artist doing really detailed work, you may want to upgrade but this should cover almost all artists at all levels. This skin material is appropriately responsive and a good medium to learn the art, or for practicing new designs, equipment or methods. The material is adequately firm and thick for most applications. And you can never have too many ink cups. This is a nice kit to have on hand to keep your skills sharp during downtime.

.
A must for any apprentice or anyone who needs to practice. Love the variety of ink cups that it includes. They are easy to use and have a nice weight to them so they aren't shifting much while you are working. The practice skins are easy to use and give you a nice introduction to the art.

This set will give beginners good practice and room for error
These practice skins are a GREAT way to start the process of learning appropriate pressure, depth, and shading. The skin mat has the give, smoothness, and stretch of real skin, and it's visibly cracked if you get to a point of "overworking" were it real skin. The mat holds ink very well when the appropriate depth and force are applied and doesn't hold hardly anything if your needles are too shallow. It's very good at showing the varying darknesses of ink profusion at different depths/pressure as well. The coloring is closer to actual skin tone than other sets I have used, which gives a much better sense of certain ink color gradients, particularly with orange to yellow and green to blue. The skin is a wonderful teaching tool to gain the muscle memory necessary to not break all the way through skin before you move on to 2mm skins for more detailed training on shading. The best part about this pack is that it comes with 10 decently-sized practice skins, though they are too thin t use double-sided. The only thing I don't really like is that when you're inking, wiping away the excess leaves very dark ink stains. But you can go in with a magic eraser and some rubbing alcohol and remove most of the stain fairly easily to see where you really are when trying shading. There is an assortment of cup sizes, and enough of each size that you don't have to worry about running out. The larger cups are perfect for mixing the colors, as they give you plenty of stirring room and room to back-fill if you make a mistake in the shading. The smaller cups help ensure you don't waste your mix colors. Overall, great value for the cost.

Great practice tattoo skins!
I'm a beginner at tattooing and these have really been great to use to perfect my work. They are exactly as described and I would definitely recommend.

Both products are fairly average, so as long as the price is good they are worthy of consideration.
