Works great and has a long charge

Started my car on the first try, even though the battery died and sat for a few days during extremely cold temperatures. Safe and easy to connect and use, even if you don't know anything about cars. As long as you follow the instructions you will be fine. Compact and rugged design. Carry case for the charger and all accessories included.

This device absolutely surpassed my expectations. It has reliably started a 1971 Jeepster Commando that didn’t have enough battery power to kick over. And in 13 degree weather. As a test, I tried it on an old diesel Case Backhoe with a weak battery. It had enough power to get it to hit, but not enough to start. But that realistically is a bridge too far for something this small and portable. Absolutely recommend.

It seems to be a good product. It is compact and fits in a nice case that keeps the battery unit, cables and battery charging cord together. It is easy to store in my vehicle. I have yet to use it, but have used the one my wife keeps in her SUV. I have used it several times. The ease of use and convenience of her charger is the reason I purchased my own.

At $60 the price was right and it was very effective in starting my 2009 Subaru Forester’s dead battery right up! It has a USB wire with a C ending to charge the charger and I have also used it to charge my iPhone. The cables are plenty long enough and the LED light is quite bright with two additional settings (faster blink and slower). Comes in a nice case. Happy with purchase.

I purchased one of these and got a message from Amazon a few days later that it was not deliverable. I think they credited my card (but I am actually not sure). In any case, I really wanted to buy one of these for my husband so I ordered this exact same thing again. It’s important for us to have a gadget like this bc we have only one car so don’t always have another vehicle to charge from. It arrived very fast this time and I hid it away and wasn’t going to get it out until this coming Sunday, my husband’s birthday. Well, the day after it arrived, we went outside to find we had, you guessed it, a dead car battery. So early birthday gift time, it was. And once opened, we learned how to use this jump starter very quickly and it worked like a charm. It’s super lightweight and comes with about an 80% charge so we didn’t have to wait for it to charge. Just couldn’t have been easier. So we put it to good use that day, it turned the engine over (phew) and we gave it another charge and tucked it away, never thinking we would find our car battery dead *again* the very next morning. Even so, we used the jump starter again and the engine turned over just fine (again) and we were able to drive the car with no issues for the rest of the day. Then on the third day after using it, we went outside to find our car battery dead yet again! We went through the same exercise, charging our recurring dead battery with this brand new jump starter. Again, the engine turned over just fine and we drove it for the rest of the day. That particular night, my husband, feeling super anxious at this point, went outside in the dark to test the engine and saw that there was a very small, very faint dome light on in the back of our car (a Subaru Outback), a light that we didn’t even know existed and that no one would’ve been able to see on in the light of day. Apparently, that light had been switched on inadvertently, and it was draining our battery, necessitating us having to jump-start it with this brand new item that we had only just received from Amazon. So we felt like we figured out where the battery drain was coming from. And this new car jump starter, something we had zero experience with prior to this, got us through this mystifying week without us having to tow it in to the mechanic and pay for all the expensive Subaru “software systems” diagnostics. So glad I ordered another one of these and that it’s now part of our driving experience.

This was a Christmas present to my son. Little did I know, I'd be needing it a couple days after he received it. It started my car...with a dead battery, like there had been nothing wrong with my battery. He has since used it at his business where he has a lot of classic trucks sitting waiting to be revitalized. Their batteries are dead, but this jump starter works like a charm to get them running to get into the garage for their rebirth!
