A great story well acted
A great story well acted. However there was a large part of the movie that we were left wondering what was happening as they spoke a lot in a native indian language or Mexican with no subtitles..... just feel like we were a bit cheated. Alternatively, it sounded great in those languages....if only there had been subtitles....

Storyline
The film was crap and boring and unreal and I was disapointed I had to pay as I clicked on it by mistake.Films on Amazon are usually great but this one was poor and I think you should pay me for watching it.

A Must For "Tommy Lee Jones" Fans
I bought this for my dad who not only loves westerns but is also a fan of Tommy Lee Jones. My dad loved it as it combined the two aspects he likes the most - a gripping western story line combined with a strong leading actors. I watched it at the same time as my dad and I am by know means a western fan, however I have to admit that the story line had real twists and turns and there were several times I was sitting on the edge of the sofa hoping the young teenager who went missing would be found.

Well acted, but a theme we have seen before.
Liked the acting, did not like the camera work or editing.

Entertaining
A bit long, some great bits but also some not so convincing bits. Glad I watched it though as Ron Howard is always worth considering as he is a great director.

Excellent Western
This is a thoroughly enjoyable film with plenty of action, lovely scenery, great acting and a really good plot.If you then throw in nasty renegades, rattle snakes a plenty, Indian curses, potions and mantras, the cavalry, coyotes & hawks and a rattling good finale then this is a win, win, win film.
