Noice!
This is a handy little bag sealer. It works best for the thinner plastic bags - chip bags, rice bags, salad bags, etc. I like it because it saves me from having to use clips on everything. It is fairly easy to use, but it takes a bit of practice to get it right. You have to go slow enough to melt the plastic but not so slow that it sticks to the sealer. I had a cheap little battery powered sealer years ago, so I was familiar with the use and operation of the product. Keep in mind that this is not a vacuum sealer - it just melts the bag so it closes. Here's what I like about this little unit:- It is cheap. Honestly, what can you get for five bucks these days?- It is rechargeable. Plugs in with a little USB charger. Much better than buying and replacing batteries.- It is dual function. Move the dial to one side, and a little blade pops out for opening bags. This is great if you don't have scissors handy. The other side of the dial is the sealer.- It has a magnetic back, so it hangs on the fridge. This makes it easy to keep track of.- It is small and doesn't leave a big footprint or take up a lot of space in your kitchen. All in all, there's a lot to like about this little sealer for $5. My only complaint is that the dial has 4 positions - cut, seal, and 2 safety/stop positions, but it isn't marked. You have to look to see if the pads are lined up for sealing or if the little knife blade is poking out to see which position it's in. It would be so easy to have the dial labeled with symbols or whatever to let you know what it is. I'm still very happy with my purchase. 4.5 stars, rounding up to 5.

Cheaply manufactured. Hard to get consistent seal.
Item is very small. Fits in the palm of the hand. Rechargeable via USB-C. Very light. Plastic all round. Feels cheaply made. Can hear rattles inside. Comes with USB-C cable. A sample plastic bag. Instructions. No pre-heating required. There is a '-' and '+' sign on the device where the black dial is. '-' is 12 o'clock, '+' is 6 o'clock. The 3 and 9 o'clock is to lock the device. The signs are so tiny you need a magnifying glass to see them. Setting it to '-' is to open up bags. '+' is to seal. Guiding a bag thru takes some practice. The pressure you apply, the speed and angle you pull the bag will determine how good a seal you get. I burnt the bag on some practice runs. I could never get a smooth and straight consistent seal. They were all slanted. Generally, it works. It seals. But just not perfect ones. Not something I will recommend and cost quite a bit too.

Fairly okay
As the name implies, it is a heat sealer--meaning it heats the plastic and causes it to fuse together, thus forming a seal. It is fairly okay and sorta does what it is supposed to do--you'll need to use this on a flat surface though-holding the bag in your hand creates inconsistent seals for some reason. as do creases on the bag. The seal stays on okay, but is easy to break open--which can be plus and a minus, I guess. Overall, for the price this is fairly ok.

THIS MINI BAG SEALER REALLY WORKS!!!
This is a really nice bag sealer. I love it!!! I've never had one of these before...but it's so nice having one for those potato chips that I love so much. It's so easy to use. You just place the bag or package that you want to seal inside the sealer and press down while moving across the length of the bag. But, please know you have to apply some pressure to press the sealer together so that it will seal. It makes a really nice clean seal, too. It's a great value and find. It's a nice durable sealer. I highly recommend.

serious reliability issues
I had initially given the CAYYET Mini Bag Sealer a more positive rating, but now I'm faced with extreme disappointment. After using this product no more than five or six times, with less than 20 to 30 seconds of total heat time, it has completely stopped heating up.This is not what I expected from a product that's supposed to provide convenience and help keep snacks and food storage fresh. I'm now revising my rating to one star, and if it were possible, I'd give it zero stars. The sudden failure of this mini bag sealer has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. It's a stark reminder that durability and reliability are essential in any kitchen gadget, and unfortunately, this product falls short in those aspects.I would advise potential buyers to think twice before investing in the CAYYET Mini Bag Sealer, as my experience has been far from satisfactory.Initial review ****I really wanted to like the CAYYET Mini Bag Sealer because it seemed like a fantastic and brilliant concept. However, after using it extensively on various bags of chips, I have to admit that I'm struggling to get it just right.I've tried this gadget on numerous bags, but I just can't seem to master it completely. The idea of having a rechargeable, handheld heat vacuum sealer to keep snacks and food fresh is fantastic. It's compact, eco-friendly, and even has three different modes for sealing. The problem lies in the execution. The heat it generates for sealing is quite intense. You need to be incredibly precise in your movements, or you risk tearing the bag you're working on. Releasing the bag at just the right moment without accidentally damaging it is challenging. In a nutshell, the CAYYET Mini Bag Sealer has tremendous potential for food storage, but it demands a steady hand and a high level of precision to avoid bag damage. It's not as effortless as I had hoped, but with some practice, it could still be a handy tool for those willing to invest the effort to master it.

Not easy and not what I expected
This sort of does the job? I had different expectations of this sealer. It heats the plastic, and seals it—for the most part. It’s hit and miss and you really have to ensure there are no creases or bunched up material. This unit will heat and cut at the same time. The end result is more like the bottom of a plastic sandwich bag—but not as reinforced. I expected it to seal like a food sealer. Not the case. It can only be used on certain plastics, too. Overall, not worth the money due to its inconsistency and lack of reinforcement.
H**?
Does what ya think it does.
Works as expected, but be careful - user error can cause you to burn the bag or have to reseal it again. Overall pretty pleased with the product and how it works!
