This is a great little 1911 barrel bushing wrench / tool made of metal to last a long time. Not much to say other than it makes removing the bushing much easier than with your fingers. Great value...about the same price as plastic ones, only this one is metal! Should last a lifetime.

Sort of works, but awkward to use and too tight of a fit...I grabbed one to keep in the tool chest when needed to work on the Taurus PT1911AE....Just tried to use it and it was a challenge to say the least. The bushing cut out is just a bit to small to fit over the bushing....After the attempted use and the visibly scratched up tool, I went and grabbed the Taurus OEM one out of the box, which fit and functioned quite smoothly as it always has...I suspect after a bit of die-grinding\Dremel tool work, it could be a perfect fit.It as 2 ends with 2-different size bushing cutouts, so it's possible that one end or the other may work fine for some 1911 variations. I have no way to tell...Is it worth it for a stamped piece of metal? Not IMO.....
